On August 15, 2026, the final day of training and entrepreneurship activities for our 25 ACP trainees under the Coconut Farmers Scholarship Program (CFSP) was successfully conducted at Poniente’s Farm, Maragondon, Cavite.

The activity provided our trainees with a meaningful and hands-on learning experience, particularly through the preparation of coconut jam (coco jam). More than just an enjoyable activity, it served as an opportunity to strengthen their practical knowledge, enhance their entrepreneurial skills, and explore the potential of coconut-based products.

Through initiatives like this, we remain committed to empowering our trainees with valuable skills and knowledge that can contribute to the growth of the coconut sector and open opportunities for sustainable livelihood and enterprise.

The training was made possible through the coordination of 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗠. 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗼 from the 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗦𝗗𝗢) 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗶, whose support and collaboration contributed significantly to the successful implementation of the program.

The 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 for the training was 𝗠𝘀. 𝗭𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲 of 𝗚𝗜𝗔 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺, who shared her expertise and practical experiences in fishery farming. Her informative discussions provided the participants with valuable insights into sustainable aquaculture practices, effective farm management, and innovative approaches that can be integrated into classroom instruction.

The event was also graced by the presence of 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗣. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘁𝗮, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗧𝗩𝗦𝗜, who expressed his support for continuous professional development among educators and reaffirmed the institution's commitment to providing quality technical and vocational education and training in the agriculture sector.

Throughout the activity, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗬𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮 served as the 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, ensuring the smooth flow of the program and assisting both the resource speaker and participants during the lectures, discussions, and practical learning sessions.

The training concluded successfully, equipping TLE teachers with enhanced knowledge and practical competencies in fishery farming. It also strengthened the partnership between PTVSI and the Schools Division Office of Makati in promoting quality, industry-based learning experiences that empower educators and ultimately benefit their students.

The activity provided the young learners with a fun, interactive, and meaningful experience that introduced them to the importance of agriculture and sustainable farming. Through hands-on demonstrations and guided tours, the students gained valuable knowledge about food production, farming practices, and the significance of supporting local agricultural communities. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and active participation made the event both memorable and rewarding.

The students were given an informative tour that highlighted the complete process of mushroom cultivation and value-added food production.
𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲, 𝗟𝗡𝗞 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲, managed by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘁𝗮, for warmly accommodating the students, faculty, and staff and for providing a comfortable venue and delicious lunch that everyone truly enjoyed.

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, for showcasing inspiring products handcrafted by children with disabilities, including vinegar products, handmade hair clips, decorative flowers, and other unique creations. This exhibit promoted inclusivity, creativity, and the value of empowering persons with disabilities through livelihood opportunities.
