Another proud milestone for TCGC-IBFS student researchers as their collaborative study was successfully presented at the BEAMS 3rd International Research Conference 2026 at the University of the Visayas.

📌 Research Title: “Knowledge and Utilization of the Digital Treasury Management System among Barangay Treasurers in Tangub City”

🎤 Presenter/Research Adviser: Prof. Danisa Nikki Abella

This research highlights the growing role of digital systems in strengthening financial and treasury management at the barangay level. By examining the knowledge and utilization of the Digital Treasury Management System among barangay treasurers, the study provides insights into the adoption of technology in local financial administration.

The successful presentation demonstrates the value of student–faculty research collaboration, giving students the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge to relevant local governance concerns, communicate research findings, and contribute to the wider academic community.

The Tangub City Global College – Institute of Business and Financial Services (TCGC-IBFS) actively participated in the BEAMS 3rd International Research Conference, held on August 19–20, 2026 at the University of the Visayas – Main Campus, Cebu City, with the theme “Harnessing Research Frontiers: Innovation, Emerging Technologies, and Transformative Inquiry.”

The international research conference brought together researchers, educators, and practitioners from various disciplines, providing a platform for knowledge exchange, professional development, research presentation, and academic collaboration. Representing the Office Administration Program were Prof. Rosana D. Anduhar, MBA and Prof. Nancy A. Alo, MBA, while Prof. Grace V. Geopano, MBA and Prof. Danisa Nikki Abella represented the HRM Program.

This achievement supports Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, particularly through the continuous professional development of faculty members, advancement of research competencies, and sharing of knowledge within the academic community. The initiative also contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by promoting continuous professional development, research-driven innovation, and the development of competencies relevant to the evolving workplace.
