In line with the theme โStudent Research as a Catalyst of Change: A Beacon Towards Academic and Community Progress,โ Tangub City Global College proudly celebrated its student researchersโ achievements during the 7th College-Wide Student Research Forum.
Representing the Institute of Business and Financial Services (IBFS), Charmie L. Heledo, Romel S. Quezon Jr., Cherry H. Candilada, and Cathelyn Mae F. Magallanes earned the prestigious โBest in Research Abstractโ award for their study:
โLevel of Awareness of Green Human Resource Management in Local Government Unit in Tangub City.โ

The faculty of the Institute of Business and Financial Services (IBFS) enthusiastically joined the seminar-workshop organized by the Office of Research, Extension, Linkages, and Internationalization (RELI) on April 7, 2026 at the Activity Hall, 3rd Floor, Main Building, TCGC.
Titled: โDesigning Data Analysis in Quantitative Research: Statistical Tools and Computer Applicationsโ, the session, led by Ms. Rachelle P. Tapio, MSAMS, equipped our faculty with practical knowledge on applying statistical tools and computer applications in designing effective quantitative research.
From exploring modern statistical techniques to hands-on applications, our IBFS faculty actively engaged in learning, sharing insights, and enhancing their research capabilities. This initiative reflects their dedication to continuous professional growth, better guiding students in research, and contributing to the academic excellence of TCGC.

The 4th Panukiduki Research Festival culminated on Day 2 with a meaningful and celebratory Awarding Ceremony, recognizing the outstanding efforts, excellence, and dedication of our BUSINESS student researchers from the Institute of Business and Financial Services (IBFS).
After a series of insightful presentations and engaging discussions, the most exceptional works and individuals were honored for their remarkable contributions to research and academic excellence. The ceremony highlighted not only the achievements of the winners but also the collective success of all participants who took part in this yearโs research festival.

The IBFS Research and Extension Services Office continues the 4th Panukiduki Research Festival today at the Activity Hall, 3rd Floor, as the event transitions into the awarding of outstanding student research presentations.
Following the successful completion of research discussions, the festival now highlights the recognition of exemplary outputs, celebrating the efforts, innovation, and academic excellence of participating student researchers.
As part of the IBFS Research Forum, the initiative reinforces its commitment to fostering a strong research culture while acknowledging the achievements of young scholars.

Business student researchers from the Institute of Business and Financial Services (IBFS) successfully kicked off the 4th Panukiduki Research Festival as they presented their respective research studies at the Activity Hall.
The studies presented during the morning session centered on relevant and timely topics involving the school community, particularly focusing on school administration, student-parents, student assistants, and institutional publications. In the afternoon session, student researchers shifted their focus to external studies related to local governance and the local tourism industry, highlighting the connection between academic research and community development.
The presentations were enriched by the valuable insights of our reactorsโDr. Ilyn Daguman, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Prof. Clint Joy Quije, Vice President for Research, Extension, Linkages and Internationalization; Prof. Alberto Salinas, Head for LMSA & PFOM; Elisea Lorenton, Head of City Tourism; and Ruby Bacaling, City Administrator/Head, City HRMO, represented by Aldrie V. Codilla, BPLO Staff.
Indeed, Day 1 of the Panukiduki Research Festival was a celebration of knowledge, collaboration, and academic excellenceโbridging research with both academic and community impact. ๐กโจ
