Due to the prevailing weather conditions, and in accordance with Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 129, as well as the announcements of the Batangas PIO and the City Government of Tanauan, face-to-face classes at all levels are suspended on Wednesday, 19 August 2026.

Basic Education Schools students will shift to asynchronous online learning.

Meanwhile, Tertiary Schools examinations scheduled for 19 August 2026 will be rescheduled to the next school day, following the same examination schedule.

The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education has officially deployed its 4th Year Pre-Service Teachers to 11 public and private schools across three Schools Divisions in the Province of Batangas!

This milestone marks another step in preparing our future educators through meaningful, hands-on teaching experiences in real school communities.

The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) officially launches the Lecture Series with its fourth session featuring Mr. Christoper Kenneth N. Tionko, Instructor of College of Arts, Sciences, and Education.

As future educators, we recognize the importance of developing not only strong content knowledge but also effective, learner-centered instructional strategies that address the diverse needs of students in today's classrooms. This lecture series entitled, "TeachSmart:
Unlocking Powerful Instructional Strategies for Future Educators," aims to strengthen our pedagogical skills, build our confidence in teaching, and prepare us to become competent, reflective, and adaptable educators.

👩‍🏫 Lecture Series | Day 3

The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) officially launches the Lecture Series with its third session featuring Dr. Jerrylyn B. Magbuo, Dean of College of Arts, Sciences, and Education.

What happens when the classroom described in textbooks is different from the one a future teacher actually enters? Through realistic, scenario-based challenges, this interactive lecture-workshop prepares pre-service teachers to respond thoughtfully to large classes, varied learner needs, limited funding, unequal access to technology, and other realities of Philippine schools. Participants will examine what truly makes an instructional resource meaningful and explore practical ways of sustaining depth and quality even when conditions are less than ideal. The session invites future teachers to look beyond impressive tools, recognize possibilities within their teaching contexts, and make sound, human-centered instructional decisions for the learners and communities they will serve.

In view of the latest weather conditions and official advisories, face-to-face classes at all levels in Tanauan City are suspended on Monday, 10 August 2026.

In line with this, FAITH Catholic School, FIDELIS Senior High School, and the Tertiary Schools will shift to online synchronous classes.

Opening of classes for First Asia International High School will be announced later.

The safety and well-being of our FAITH community remain our top priority. Everyone is advised to stay safe, remain vigilant, and continue monitoring official government advisories for further updates.

The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) officially launches the Field Study Lecture Series with its second session featuring Dr. Bayani T. Vicencio, College Instructor

The Lecture, “Light Up the Future of Education: Navigating the ILAW Framework in the Current Strengthened Curriculum,” highlights the value of understanding the ILAW framework to help fourth year pre-service teachers learn what it means and how its core areas guide modern lesson design. The program equips participants to analyze aligned sample plans and build essential skills for practice teaching.
