Please be informed that the signing of clearance for University Library is now located at the WEST SIDE OF THE UNIVERSITY LIBRARY BUILDING

Students who need to have their library clearance signed are advised to proceed to the said location during regular office hours.

MARCH 10, 2026, until further notice.

Library Service Days: MONDAY - THURSDAY
Library Service Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

The University Library successfully conducted a Library Instruction on Digital Library Resources on February 23, 2026 at the Digital Library. As one of the library’s core services, this activity aims to equip students with the necessary skills to effectively access and maximize the use of the library’s digital collections.

The session provided comprehensive guidance on navigating online databases, e-books, and e-journals, while also strengthening students’ research skills, critical evaluation of information sources, and responsible use of academic materials. Through this initiative, the University Library continues to promote independent learning, digital literacy, and academic excellence among students.

The activity was facilitated by Mr. Giovanni James G. Evardone, RL, LPT, together with Ms. Judy Nisperos, ETC Staff, and Mr. Adonis Rivera, University Library IT Staff, whose collaborative efforts ensured an informative and engaging learning experience for the participants.

Last January 30, 2026, the University Library Personnel conducted an earthquake preparedness activity at the 2nd Floor Reference Area.

Before the drill, Maychelou R. Castillo, LPT, Director of the University Disaster Risk Reduction and Management of Mindanao State University - General Santos, shared essential safety tips and assessed possible emergency exits.

An actual earthquake drill followed, helping participants practice proper response and evacuation procedures.

Prepared today. Safer tomorrow.

The University Library conducted its 1st Quarterly Meeting on February 2, 2026, held at the University Library, 2nd Floor Reference Area.

During the meeting, library personnel discussed institutional matters of Mindanao State University – General Santos Campus, library-related concerns, and other issues affecting library staff and services.
