OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT | MES ELECTIONS 2026

Due to the suspension caused by the bad weather and the Preliminary Examination scheduled on August 10, the previously scheduled campaign period is cancelled.

After careful consideration, the MES Election Committee and Student Electoral Board has decided on the following revised schedule:

📌 August 13–16, 2026
Physical Campaign Period
• Room-to-room campaigning is allowed.

📌 August 17, 2026
Online Campaign Period
• No physical campaigning will be allowed.
• Campaigning will be conducted online only.

📅 August 19, 2026 (WEDNESDAY)

All candidates and concerned students are advised to follow the revised schedule and campaign guidelines.

‎I am Midshipman Aquino, Gerald and I am not running for this position because I seek recognition I am running because I believe that every Marine Engineering student deserves a representative who will listen, take action, and lead with integrity.

‎Our department is filled with hardworking, determined, and future maritime professionals. Yet, there are still opportunities to strengthen our communication, improve student support, and ensure that every concern is heard and addressed. I want to be the voice that represents all of us.
