In preparation for the 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, and to ensure the safety and security of all students, faculty members, non-teaching personnel, visitors, and other stakeholders, all concerned are hereby informed to strictly observe the following 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬:

1. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲. All persons entering the campus shall use the designated entrance and comply with the instructions of the security personnel on duty.

2. All bags and personal belongings shall be 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲. 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐤𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐩 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 that are unauthorized or not necessary for legitimate academic or official activities shall not be allowed inside the campus and shall be 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝/𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥.

3. 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐬, 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬, 𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬. Delivery personnel shall proceed to the designated receiving area or authorized receiving office. All parcels and packages delivered to the University shall undergo the prescribed 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠/𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, before they are released to the intended recipient or receiving office.

4. All vehicles entering the University premises shall be 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Only vehicles displaying a valid 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐯𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫 shall be allowed to enter the campus parking area, subject to available parking spaces. Parking shall be on a 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞, 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐤/𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐯𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐮𝐭𝐲 as part of the University's security screening procedures.

All members of the University community and other stakeholders are enjoined to 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐬. These measures are intended to maintain a safe, secure, and orderly environment for everyone within the University premises.

The Technological University of the Philippines Visayas (TUPV) lists 15 new Registered Mechanical Engineers out of 25 takers in the August 2026 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination (MELE), achieving a 60% passing rate and surpassing the national average of 36.95%, as released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Huge congratulations to our 15 new Registered Mechanical Engineers from the Technological University of the Philippines Visayas!

Your hard work, discipline, and grit have paid off. Congratulations to the new engineers, their families, and the faculty who supported them. TUPV is proud of you! 👏

With everyone's concerns taken into consideration, please be informed that the final schedule for top uniform sizing will be on August 13, 2026 (Thursday), in the afternoon.

All students who wish to purchase a top uniform are requested to attend the sizing during the scheduled time to ensure accurate measurements. Please note that this will be the final opportunity for top uniform sizing, and no additional sizing schedules will be conducted thereafter.

We are excited to welcome you to the 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙨' 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙎.𝙔. 2026-2027 on August 13, 2026 at the TUP Visayas Gymnasium.

Registration: 8:00 AM
Program Starts Promptly: 9:00 AM

Dress Code: Wear any shade of:
🟥 Red | ⬜ White | ⬛ Black | 🟦 Blue | ◻️ Gray

Before the orientation, please take note of the following guidelines:

1. Each section shall select one (1) class representative.
2. Only the class representative shall proceed to the registration area.
3. The class representative shall sign the registration sheet, obtain the attendance sheet, and bring it back to the assigned section.
4. All students must remain in their designated seats. The seating arrangement will be posted on the TUP Visayas Guidance Services Office page before the orientation.
5. While waiting for the program to begin, students shall sign the attendance sheet.
6. The completed attendance sheet shall be submitted to the assigned TUPeer or USG facilitator.
7. Bring one (1) black ballpen for accomplishing the Personal Data Folder (PDF), Guidance Needs Assessment, and Program Evaluation Form.
8. Kindly refrain from using cellphones and other electronic gadgets during the orientation. Listen attentively, participate actively, and give your full attention to the presenters.
9. Observe proper behavior and decorum throughout the entire orientation. Show respect to the speakers, facilitators, fellow students, and University personnel at all times.

We encourage everyone to have their measurements taken on or before the deadline. Requests submitted after this date may no longer be accommodated.
