💜Let's step into June with open hearts, unstoppable energy
📢The real test?
I let you pick your own song and create your own combo — because copying is easy, understanding is talent. ✨
I’m genuinely proud of your progress, Erica Mae Bienes Pangatungan 👏🏻👏🏻 . You’re starting to understand the movement instead of just copying it — and that’s where real dance begins.
Keep showing up, keep growing, & keep learning. 💃
Now the question is… who’s next? 🤭
📢WHAT I’M NOT AFRAID TO ADMIT ✨
There was a time when I thought wearing a bellydance costume was enough to call myself a" bellydancer".
👇But looking back now, I can honestly admit… I still lacked rhythm, flow, confidence, & graceful transitions. I loved the art, but I had not yet fully understood it.
Everything changed when I decided to take formal classes & proper training from Al-Raqesa Academy . That experience humbled me & opened my eyes to how deep & beautiful bellydance truly is- Thanks to my Teacher Arjae - with you , I learned that grace is not something you magically wake up with.
It is built through consistency, discipline, repetition, patience, & showing up even when you feel tired, unmotivated, or not improving fast enough.
🩰📌And this is something I always remind my students:
your growth does not depend on talent alone.
✅Your teacher can guide you, correct you, and share knowledge — but real improvement also depends on you.
On your willingness to train.
💫To practice.
💫To listen.
💫To keep showing up.
Because every class you attend, every drill you repeat, & every moment you push through discomfort becomes part of your transformation.
📢No one becomes graceful overnight.
Even the dancers you admire today once struggled with timing, posture, transitions, confidence, and musicality. The difference is… they did not quit.
💗So to my students:
keep showing up.
Even when progress feels slow.
Even when you feel awkward.
Even when you think you’re not improving.
✨ One day, you will look back and realize how far you’ve come — and you’ll thank yourself for not giving up.

📢Prevent injuries while dancing safely & gracefully....
🔥 Last night’s bellydance class focused on proper ex*****on of both upper & lower body movements while using yoga mats to support & protect the knees. 💃✨
Technique & body awareness are essential—not only to improve movement quality, balance, and control, but also to help prevent injuries while dancing safely and gracefully. 🌙
✨Eid Mubarak from our beautiful bellydance Queens at Escario! ✨
For tonight's is all about movement, grace, & confidence as we learn travelling steps and master clean ex*****ons. 💃🔥
Every step tells a story, every drill builds strength, and every class brings us closer to becoming better dancers together. 🌙💜
See you tonight at the dance floor & tag along some friends with ya🫶

🫶🏻Strength, grace, & a little bit of sass — because confidence looks better from every angle. 😉
❌It’s a very relatable song for people who feel they gave too much love, patience, or loyalty and got hurt in return.
📌⁉️Just now I received an interesting question from an inquiry👇👇
📢Oriental dance is not about revealing your body — it is about revealing your artistry, confidence, emotion, and soul.
📌We do not need to be naked or half-naked to practice Egyptian Oriental Dance, also known as Raqs Sharqi,
A true dancer is recognized not by how much skin she shows, but by how she moves, expresses, & connects through her dance. 💃
One of the most common misconceptions is that “belly dance” is only about the belly. In reality, Oriental Dance is a powerful art form rooted in culture, musicality, technique, femininity, & self-expression.
You don’t need to show your stomach, chest, or any specific body part to embody the essence of this dance. What truly matters is your presence, your confidence, your connection to the music, and your understanding of movement.
📢A dancer’s skill, grace, and energy should always speak louder than the costume.
📢Education creates understanding.
📢Understanding builds confidence.
✨And confidence gives us the freedom to fully express ourselves.
💗Dance with purpose. Dance with dignity. Dance with passion. And most importantly — dance for yourself. 👑
Whether you want to wrap yourself, show some skin, show half naked... I will still support you💓you are still welcome in our community without judgement 💗

When we are able to say “I love you” to someone, it means we are also learning how to love ourselves.
💓And these beautiful women showed that by giving time to themselves — exploring the art of oriental dance, embracing confidence, & discovering their purpose.
So happy to see our Dharana Oriental Jewels' family is getting bigger every class 😍
