Knowing Christ: Weekly Catechetical Apostolate At Lawaan Elementary School | August 19, 2026

The AB ReEd & PasCom students of DBFC–Lawaan continued with their weekly catechetical apostolate at Lawaan Elementary School.

This week’s lesson centered on Jesus’ question, “Who do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:13–20), inviting the young learners to recognize Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the living God, and to respond to Him with faith as His disciples.

In the spirit of St. John Bosco, this apostolate continues to accompany the young toward a deeper friendship with Jesus and a life of faithful witness.

May our young learners know Christ more deeply, profess their faith with courage, and faithfully follow Him.

(ANS – Roma) – Il Rettor Maggiore, Don Fabio Attard, ha ufficialmente svelato il tema della Strenna 2027, offrendo alla Famiglia Salesiana una riflessione approfondita sul cammino compiuto negli ultimi anni e sulle prospettive che si aprono per il futuro. Il nuovo tema, "La ca**tà è paziente, la ca**tà è benigna – 'Consacrati' al bene integrale dei giovani", affonda le radici nell'inno alla ca**tà di san Paolo e nell'eredità pedagogica del Sistema Preventivo di Don Bosco, invitando ogni membro della Famiglia Salesiana a un rinnovato impegno educativo e pastorale a favore dei giovani, specialmente i più bisognosi.

Today, on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we joyfully celebrate the Missio Canonica of our AB REED & PASCOM Batch 2026, officially commissioned as Catechists, called to proclaim the Gospel and sent to serve.

We also extend our appreciation to the Aspirants and Bearers who generously served during the Holy Mass and contributed to the meaningful celebration.

Faith That Perseveres: Weekly Catechetical Apostolate At Lawaan Elementary School | August 12, 2026

The AB ReEd & PasCom students of DBFC–Lawaan continued with their weekly catechetical apostolate at Lawaan Elementary School.

This week’s lesson centered on the Gospel of the Canaanite Woman (Matthew 15:21–28), reminding the children to listen attentively to God’s Word, participate fully in the Sacred Liturgy, and remain steadfast in faith and prayer.

In the spirit of St. John Bosco, this apostolate continues to lead the young toward a deeper friendship with Jesus.

May our young learners grow in humble and persevering faith, trusting in Christ’s mercy.

Courage In Christ: Weekly Catechetical Apostolate At Lawaan Elementary School | August 5, 2026

The AB ReEd & PasCom students of DBFC–Lawaan continued with their weekly catechetical apostolate at Lawaan Elementary School.

This week’s lesson centered on the Gospel of Jesus Walking on the Water (Matthew 14:22–33), preparing the children to listen more attentively to the Word of God and participate more fully in this Sunday’s Sacred Liturgy. Amid the recent weeks of rain and storms, they were reminded to trust in Christ, who remains with His people through every trial.

In the joyful spirit of St. John Bosco, this apostolate continues to accompany the young toward a deeper friendship with Jesus.

May our young learners keep their eyes fixed on Christ and follow Him with steadfast faith.
