Through the Extension Program of TUP Visayas in Brgy. Katilingban, Talisay City, one of the partners of TUP Visayas. We aspire to bridge the gap between gender disparities and promote sustainable development, we recognize the urgent need to address and dismantle the pervasive issue of violence against women and children. This program is not just an activity; it's a catalyst for change, an opportunity to ignite conversations, and a platform to unite our voices against the injustices that plague our community.

𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀!

In 2006, then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo signed Proclamation 1172, extending the national campaign to 18 days, thereby including December 12, a historic date that marked the signing in the year 2000 of the UN Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, especially Women and Children.

As we show our support to raise awareness and take a stand against gender-based violence, our dedicated departments, Basic Arts and Sciences Department, Chemical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, and Computer Engineering, our inspiring students of TUP Visayas who have come together to champion this cause, and Likas Club for joining us. Your passion and involvement make a significant impact, paving the way for positive change.

Our collective strength lies in unity. Let's raise our voices, spread awareness, and actively participate in initiatives that promote a safer, more inclusive environment for all. Gender equality is not just a goal; it's a shared responsibility.

The Fibonacci sequence, known for its fascinating patterns in nature! It's like a secret code that unlocks the beauty of the world around us.

As we celebrate the mathematical magic of the Fibonacci sequence (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, and so on), we thank Canon Calculators PH and MTAP Tertiary Level as our special collaborators in this activity, our guests from Colegio San Nicolas de Tolentino - Recoletos, Notre Dame of Talisay City, Rafael B. Lacson Memorial High School

Together with our Campus Director and GAD Focal Point System Chair, Dr. Eric Malo-oy, the TUPV Administration, TUPV GAD Focal Point System, Basic Arts and Sciences Department, TUPV GAD Alalangay Student Advocates, TUP Visayas University Student Government, Tingog Club, Computer Engineering Dept., Rotary Club of Bacolod-Marapara, Committee members, Students and Teachers (in Advanced Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics), and all office staff that assisted us who was made this activity possible and contributed to its success.
