From start to finish, the day was filled with meaningful
discussions, transparency, and shared plans for the year ahead.
We welcomed our students, recognized past leaders, presented
reports and action plans, and opened the floor for voices to be
heard, all in the spirit of unity and growth.

Marking a significant milestone in their academic journey, USeP Tagum-Mabini Campus Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) Program held its 2nd Pinning Ceremony for the incoming 4th year students earlier today, June 16, at the Farmerโs Training Center (FTC) Hall.
BSIT Program Head Dr. Editha L. Hebron called the event a celebration of the studentsโ hard work, implying readiness in facing new challenges outside the classroom upon receiving their respective pins.
A total of 43 students were recognized and pledged in the said ceremony. The event was a success, with the interns set to exercise technology theories to real-world application.
Moreover, Practicum Coordinator Ms. Lyn G. Enriquez guaranteed that the practicum will sharpen their technical expertise, strengthen communication and collaboration skills, and deepen their understanding of the IT profession.

It was a perfect moment to reflect on the values of integrity and leadership that mold the future of tech. ๐โจ
The afternoon turned up the energy as clusters made their ๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ฃ๐๐๐จ with creative cheers and yells! Students showcased their talents in the TechnoLympics, battled it out in the MLBB tournament, and expressed their artistry in the banner making contest! ๐จ๐ฎ๐

The Society of Information Technology Students (SITS) successfully facilitated the BSIT Second Semestral Orientation last Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the FTC Hall. This event aimed to equip students with essential academic guidelines, policies, and insights for a productive and successful semester ahead.
The program commenced with a warm welcome from the masters of ceremony, Kyle Harvey Renigado and Alexis Bughao, emphasizing the importance of staying
informed and prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. The session covered various key topics, including academic regulations, course requirements, student responsibilities, and upcoming activities within the department.
Faculty members and student leaders also shared valuable advice to help students navigate their academic journey with confidence.
The event concluded with a motivating message from THE SITS Governor, Dave Angelo Labad, urging students to take full advantage of the resources and support systems available to them. A group photo session followed, capturing the enthusiasm and unity of the BSIT community as they embark on another semester of growth and learning.
With a clear roadmap ahead, the BSIT Second Semestral Orientation successfully set the tone for a semester filled with opportunities, challenges, and innovation. Students left the event empowered, ready to take on the semester with a renewed sense of purpose and direction.
