Dr. Jesa S. Madelo, RPh, MPH wows the panel and grabs the title of Best Medical Sciences Research at the 1st Journal of Pharmaceutical Policy and Practice Borneo of International Pharmaceutical Conference (JoPPP-BIPC) 2024

Representing Tagum Doctors College, Inc. at the conference held on September 20-22, 2024 at Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, Dr. Madelo presented her research on Health-Seeking Behavior and Compliance of HIV-Infected Individuals to Anti-Retroviral Therapy where she astounds the panel of esteemed judges and was awarded Best Medical Sciences Research. Her research explored the relationship between the demographic traits of patients undergoing anti-retroviral therapy (ART) and the factors that impact their adherence to medication schedules and treatment plans. Furthermore, the study incorporated quantitative and qualitative methods to assess how patients' sociodemographic parameters relate to their adherence to anti-retroviral therapy (ART). With another win for our institution, Dr. Madelo continues to make the TDCI community proud.

Madelo, RPh, MPH represents Tagum Doctors College, Inc. for the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between TDCI's School of Pharmacy and Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, at Bangkok, Thailand. The goal of the renewed partnership is to expand and strengthen Tagum Doctors College, Inc.'s connections in a global scale, and to adopt innovative ways of learning from Chulalongkorn University.
