City Government of Tagum Donates Equipment and Consumables to Grade 12 TVL Students of La Filipina NHS
The City Government of Tagum, under the leadership of Mayor Rey T. Uy, continues to show its unwavering support for education through the turn-over of consumables and equipment for the Grade 12 Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) students of La Filipina National High School.
Held recently at the school gym, the ceremonial turn-over was graced by City Councilors Hon. Ciara Isabelle Uy-Salazar, Hon. Rex Jasper R. Aala, Hon. Wes Caasi, and Hon. Leo Revita. Through their generous sponsorship, 50 kilos of sugar, 50 kilos of flour, and two large industrial mixers were donated to support the hands-on training of the TVL learners.
School Principal Mrs. Jasmin M. Nesperos officially received the donations on behalf of the school, together with TVL Coordinator Sir Philip John Castromayor and the Grade 12 TVL advisers. This initiative marks another milestone in strengthening the skills and competencies of students in preparation for future employment and entrepreneurship.
The entire La Filipina NHS community extends its heartfelt gratitude to the City Government of Tagum for their continued support and investment in youth development and quality education.
