Gov. Dujali Elementary School proudly held its School-Based Culmination of United Nations 2025, themed “United Nations Day 2025: Promoting Peace, Unity and Global Partnerships.” The celebration featured the Coronation Rites of Mr. & Ms. United Nations 2025 and a colorful Parade of Nations, shocasing creativity and cultural awareness of the GDES pupils.

The event was successfully coordinated by Ma’am Kareen Jane P. Patarata, MT III, under the guidance of our supportive School Head Ma’am Rowena T. Cahapay, ESP I.

The school extended heartfelt gratitude to the parents of the candidates for their unwavering support, to Ate Melody Jingco for generously giving a 100-peso cash prize to each candidate, to the Barangay Council of Monte Dujali for gracing the event, and to Vice Mayor Hon. Jacinissa Cafe-Binasbas for donating sashes and tokens for the candidates.

The celebration successfully promoted peace, unity, and global partnerships among learners, leaving lasting memories of camaraderie and cultural appreciation.

Basta ASA, May Pag-ASA!

For the very first time in the entire San Isidro District, Gov. Dujali Elementary School (GDES) proudly became the only recepient of the Client and Community Services Program conducted by ASA Philippines Foundation Inc.

The foundation brought smiles to every learner by distributing complete sets of school supplies, Jollibee Yum Burgers with juice and water, and a tumbler-a thoughful gesture that truly delighted the young students. Adding to the joy, each teacher of GDES also received Stanley Tumbler as a token of appreciation.

On behalf of the entire school, Ma’am Rowena T. Cahapay, ESP I, the school head of Gov. Dujali ES extended her sincere appreciation for choosing GDES as the beneficiary of this meaningful program. Truly inspired our learners and teachers alike.

The event not only strengthened the bond between the school and the community but also served as a reminder of how collective kindness can inspire hope and learning among the youth.

Gov. Dujali Elementary School proudly took part in the 9th Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts Camporal held at Sawata Adecor Elementary School, a meaningful gathering that showcased unity discipline, and the spirit of scouting. The event was made even more remarkable through the full-force support and guidance of GDES brilliant teachers, led by former BSP school coordinator, Ma’am Kareen Jane P. Patarata, MT III, the current BSP school coordinator Sir Bryan Rey S. Acquiatan, Ma’am Ruth D. Salarda, MT I, former GSP school coordinator, and Ma’am Jenifer M. Dorotan, the current GSP school coordinator, who worked hand in hand to guide the scouts in every activity and sessions.

GDES family extends heartfelt gratitude to Ma’am Rowena T. Cahapay, ESP I our ever-supportive school head, for her constant guidance and support throughout the entire event gikan sa sakyanan, pagpamalengke and pag-unong sa scouts bisan pa sa kagabhion.

Likewise, sincere appreciation is given to the individuals and stakeholders who helped, rendered physical service, and devoted their time to ensure the scouts’ comfortable participation in the camporal. To our COS, Sir Sinley Ray L. Torcino na amung runner if naay gusto ipanugo or ipapalit, To our hardworking kitchen team, Ate Beth, Irene Limpag and Joy Abasolo sa pagprepare sa breakfast, lunch and dinner, to our PTA President Pastor Oliver Bustamante, Sir Anthony Lanaja, Barangay Council Headed by Hon. Helen Silva along with Kagawad Roger Pamat, Kagawad Rodel Magalang and Kagawad Joe Gaum for driving our scouts to the venue and fetching them back home.

YOUNG GOV. DUJALI WRITERS EXCEL IN 2025 SAN ISIDRO DISTRICT PRESS CONFERENCE
Gov. Dujali Elementary School proudly showcased its young journalists during the San Isidro District Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2025 in collaboration with PICKMO, where several student writers emerged victorious and earned their spots for the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference 2025.

Leading the achievers was Tiffany G. Destua, who clinched 1st Place in Science and Technology Writing (Filipino – Elementary), followed by Jossa Meline Celeste who secured 2nd Place, and Renzy Melindo who bagged 3rd Place in the same category. Meanwhile, Yexil Catdula captured 4th Place in Sports Writing (Filipino – Elementary) and Nico Laraga earned 4th Place in Editorial Cartooning (Filipino – Elementary).

The school also commends its District Schools Press Conference participants — Novee Grace J. Bustamante, Xynthia S. Cardinez, Jewel C. Gaum, Rhenzel Jay T. Abasolo, Brielle Mckenzie V. Villalino, and Bernadeth Mutia — for their commendable participation and commitment to excellence in campus journalism.

These young writers were guided by their dedicated coaches: Sir Jhomerix D. Gaum, Sir Bryan Rey S. Acquiatan, and Ma’am Shella Mae R. Cuyo, whose mentorship inspired the team to reach greater heights.
Special thanks are also extended to our ever-supportive School Head, Ma’am Rowena T. Cahapay, ESP I, for her continuous encouragement, guidance, and unwavering trust in our young campus journalists. Your leadership and support truly motivate us to uphold excellence in school journalism. To Pastor Oliver T. Bustamante, the GDES PTA President and Kuya Anthony Lanaja for their invaluable support and assistance for two days of driving the student writers to the contest venue and fetching them back home.

Gov. Dujali Elementary School (GDES) recently concluded its World Teachers' Day festivities with a vibrant school-based culmination event, showering its dedicated educators with appreciation and gratitude. The celebration underscored the profound impact teachers have on students' lives and the community's unwavering support for their efforts.

The event saw a remarkable outpouring of generosity from various community leaders and organizations. Vice Mayor Jacinissa Cafe-Binasbas, SB Daisy Llevado, and SB Roselyn Cuestas graced the occasion with their presence and contributed thoughtful tokens and gifts, acknowledging the teachers' invaluable service. Adding a delightful touch to the celebration, SB Jaylen Gaje generously donated refreshing ice cream, much to the delight of everyone present.

Further demonstrating community solidarity, the Barangay Officials of Monte Dujali, under the leadership of Brgy. Captain Helen C. Silva, presented gifts to every teacher, reinforcing their commitment to educational excellence. The Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) Officials were also instrumental in organizing the day, ensuring its success.

The spirit of giving continued with Pastor Oliver Bustamante's kind donation of a lechon, adding a festive centerpiece to the celebration. Parents and GDES learners expressed their affection through beautiful flowers and gifts, personally handed to their beloved teachers. Ma’am Rowena T. Cahapay, ESP I also extended her generosity by providing gifts and grocery items, offering practical support to the faculty.

Your collective generosity made our World Teachers' Day culmination an unforgettable event, reminding us all of the powerful community spirit that uplifts our educators. We are profoundly grateful for each of you!

The San Isidro District celebrated World Teachers Day on October 1, 2025, at the Molave Hotel, Tagum City recognizing the invaluable contributions of its teachers. The event highlighted the dedication and achievements of educators within the district.

Two teachers from Gov. Dujali Elementary School (GDES) received special recognition. Ma’am Kareen Jane P. Patarata, a Master Teacher III, was honored for her 20 years of service to GDES and the San Isidro District, Division of Davao Del Norte. Her long-standing commitment has greatly impacted the school community.

Sir Jhomerix D. Gaum, a Teacher I at GDES, was awarded the District Outstanding Teacher Award for being the National Qualifier in the Schools Press Conference 2025. His achievement reflects his dedication to excellence in education and journalism.

Ma’am Rowena T. Cahapay, the school head, proudly escorted both teachers, demonstrating the school's support for their accomplishments. World Teachers' Day is observed annually to celebrate teachers around the globe and recognize their essential role in educational advancement and contributions to modern society.
