Regional Training on Manipulation of Science Laboratory Apparatus, Materials, Equipment and Ensuring Safely in the Laboratory

Aimed Towards Promoting Robotics Integration in Developing Science Investigatory Project (SIP)

Representatives from the Schools Division Office of Davao del Norte completed the 5-day Regional Seminar-Workshop on Developing Science Investigatory Project with Robotics Integration, held at NEAP Region XI Leadership and Development Center, Davao City, last April 25-29, 2022.

Fueled by the objective of capacitating teachers in robotics education and eventually enabling learners to engage in robotic projects at school; SDO Davao del Norte was well represented by Education Program Supervisors in Science and Mathematics, Dr. Evelyn Grace H. Labasan and Dr. Medos O. Jala, and secondary school teachers from Sto. Tomas National High School: Felinita II Villacura, Suzette B. Villarino, Bryan J. Animo, Junjae C. Rebalde, and Karl Jose N. Ibarrientos.

The 5-day seminar served as an avenue of learning for selected teachers from different schools divisions of Region XI; immersed in guided crafting of Research Action Plan and hands-on operation of education robots.

This milestone for Science and Mathematics Curriculum of the Division of Davao del Norte is a proof of its continuous efforts to seek for excellence in delivering quality education amidst pandemic.
