The LEAD: Leadership Experience and Ability Development–Year 2 session has successfully concluded at UM Tagum College, gathering student leaders from the eight Department Student Governments (DSGs).

Sir John Mei Armecin led the discussion, and we extend our gratitude for his guidance as the session’s speaker and facilitator for the student leaders.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Teaching Strategies and Lesson Planning Seminar-Workshop

Educators, interns, and school leaders gathered at Visayan Village Central Elementary School on February 19, 2026 for a seminar-workshop centered on strategic teaching and lesson planning. The activity was headed by Dr. Mona Lisa O. Chagas, EdD, Program Head, and led by resource speaker Sharra Mae S. Tagaro, PhD.

The BEED interns now move forward equipped with enhanced lesson-planning skills and a stronger grasp of instructional strategies. With clearer direction and practical insight, they step into their teaching journey prepared for the demands of the classroom.

An orientation for interns and field study students was conducted on February 2 and 9, 2026 at Visayan Village Central Elementary School. The activity gathered participating students and school administrators for the scheduled sessions.

Sir Shane Lupina, OJT Coordinator; Dr. Joy Jade Relos, School Principal; and Dr. Mona Lisa Chagas, Program Head, oversaw and coordinated the orientation activities.

To everyone who visited and supported our booth, thank you for sharing the love and making the experience even more special. Beyond the decorations and props, it was the laughter and smiles in front of the camera that truly brought the booth to life.

Valentine's is coming, and everyone around me seems to be in love, wrapped in their own little stories. And there I am still longing, still searching for mine.

Then I saw my gay best friend, quietly doing his makeup, lost in his own world.
And the thought slipped into my mind, soft and almost shy:

It wasn’t about wanting him.
