MAPEH stands for music, arts, physical education, and health, and it plays a significant role in daily life. At the very least, music and the arts provide a way to unwind. Physical education instills in students the value of keeping their bodies active and moving. Health can teach you how to keep healthy and what you should and shouldn't do to your body.
The Music and Arts Program aims to introduce pupils to Philippine, Asian, and Western music and foster an appreciation for it. Students are introduced to applications such as singing, playing Filipino and Asian instruments, listening to records, and reading, writing, and making music, in addition to factual and theoretical information.
In connection with the National Arts Month Celebration, Tamia Elementary School celebrating the culmination of Festival of Talents in MAPEH last February 24, 2022. The pupils showcase their talents in vocal solo and duet virtually.
The said event was truly a success through the effort of the parents, pupils, advisers, coaches, coordinator and the ever-supportive principal.
