The participant must be a resident of Tagum City aged 15-30 years old.
Professional and amateur photographers are eligible to submit entries.
Must be a member or ally of LGBTIA+ community.

𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒
•The participants must use any sizes of LGBTQIA+ flags to showcase the celebration of the Pride Month or Binuhat Festival 2023.
•Only one entry is allowed per participant. Any participant found submitting multiple entries shall be blacklisted from the competition and all entries received from such participants shall not be considered for the purposes of the competition.
•The entry must not bear any obscene content. (Failure to comply should mean disqualification.)
•The entry must be an original and bona fide work of the participant.
•The entry should not be submitted to any other competition or have been previously submitted/posted elsewhere on social media.
•Photographs should be in digital format/file. The organizers will not accept print or film submissions for the initial screening of the entries. Only photos/images submitted via registration site will be accepted.
•Photographs to be submitted should have no watermark. There should be no identifying mark on the images to eliminate any bias during the screening and judging of the submitted photos.
•Studio shots are not allowed.
•Background of the photo must include Tagum City landmarks and tourist spots.
•All submitted entries will automatically become a property of the City Government of Tagum and shall be used for promotion purposes only.

Recently, the Philippines, particularly some parts of Visayas and Northern Mindanao had been devastated during the onslaught of Typhoon Odette. Many were left with destroyed homes and communities, while the most unfortunate ones even lost their loved ones. Worse, surviving a day for them became utterly hard as supplies ran out, jobs stopped, and almost everything seemed to shut down and the only thing left is hope for help.

Because of these, the Council of Department Student Government (CDSG), Council of Student Organizations (CSO), and Collegium, under the guidance of the Office of Student Affairs, agreed to work for joint advocacy of raising help for Typhoon Odette Victims through the donation drive called 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗡: 𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗱𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲.

The said bayanihan targets to gather in-kind donations especially goods/food packs (canned goods, rice, noodles, etc.), water, tents, and hygiene kits, from UM Tagum College students through the facilitation of the aforesaid prime organizations.
The donation period shall run from January 17 to 27. Donations shall be accepted from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Office of Student Affairs. Donors would receive a certificate of appreciation upon turnover of their donations.

The student leaders believe that it is great to work for causes like this one which has a great potential to uplift a community. Bearing in mind the values of UM, we are dedicated to the embodiment of not just excellence in academics, but in character as well.
