In compliance with Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026, which implements a temporary 4-Day Work Week in government offices starting March 9, 2026, the TUP-Taguig Guidance and Counseling Office will adopt the following transaction hours:

‎Through this “Anti-Hazing Awareness” Campaign, let us stand together as one community committed to protecting 𝘋𝘐𝘎𝘕𝘐𝘛𝘠, 𝘚𝘈𝘍𝘌𝘛𝘠, and 𝘙𝘌𝘚𝘗𝘌𝘊𝘛 within our campus. No tradition, no title, and no organization is ever worth someone’s pain. 💛

‎Hazing has existed for decades, often disguised as “tradition” or “initiation.” Yet through the years, numerous incidents have resulted in serious injuries and even loss of lives — proving that harmful practices are never a rite of passage, but a violation of trust and humanity.
‎
‎In the Philippines, hazing is strictly prohibited under 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 8049 (𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗛𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗼𝗳 1995), later strengthened by 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 11053 (𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗛𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 2018). The amended law enforces stricter penalties, holds officers and members accountable, and reinforces the responsibility of organizations and schools to ensure transparency, safety, and protection for all students.

‎Because behind every member is a person deserving of care.
‎Every student deserves protection.

The Guidance and Counseling Office successfully conducted the Work Immersion Orientation and Career Talk for the Senior High School (SHS) students of Signal Village National High School, as part of the ongoing partnership under the Memorandum of Agreement between our institutions.

Both orientations aimed to familiarize students with school policies and introduce the academic programs offered by the institution. The program opened with remarks from Dr. Emmanuel L. Ferrer, Assistant Director for Academic Affairs, followed by course presentations from the Basic Arts and Sciences, Civil and Allied, Electrical and Allied, and Mechanical and Allied Departments, led by Dr. Heherson P. Ramos, LPT; Engr. Norway J. Pangan, Ph.D.; Engr. Raymund M. Lozada, PECE; and Engr. June Raymond Mariano, Ph.D.

The sessions also covered the TUP Mission and Vision, Core Values, and important campus reminders. The activity concluded with closing remarks from the Head of Office of Student Affairs and Head of Guidance and Counseling Office, Ms. Mitchie M. Caurel, LPT, RGC
