The Taguig City University Graduate School will hold the graduation rehearsals for the 19th Commencement Exercises on July 12 and 19, 2025, at 9:00 AM in the TCU Auditorium. All graduating students are expected to attend and arrive on time for the processional practice.

In a historic event, Taguig City University
(TCU) conducted the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the Federation of Graduate School Student Societies (FGSSS) and its Program Societies last June 28, 2025 at the TCU Circular Building.
The event was graced by Hon. Jomil Serna, Councilor of the 2nd District of Taguig City, who served as the guest speaker and administered the oath of office to the newly elected officers. He also delivered a special message from the City Mayor, Hon. Lani Cayetano, expressing the city's unwavering support for the development of graduate student leadership at TCU.
Dr. Amalia Rosales, Dean of the Graduate School, welcomed attendees and gave an insightful opening message, highlighting the significance of this first-ever federation in the history of TCU's Graduate School. Dr. Meleda Polita, Dean of the Office of Student Affairs and Services, and Dr. Juan Birion also expressed their heartfelt support for the initiative, emphasizing how this pioneering federation will help build a strong sense of community among graduate students.
The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the universityโs commitment to fostering student leadership and governance. This event, which saw the oath-taking of the FGSSS and the four Program SocietiesโMaster of Public Administration (MPA), Master of Science in Criminal Justice (MSCJ), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Master of Arts in Education (MAED)โis a groundbreaking achievement. It provides graduate students with the opportunity to collaborate and creates a unified platform for students to foster a more inclusive environment for learning and growth at TCU.
Mr. Redine Ehem, President of the FGSSS, delivered a powerful acceptance speech, outlining the federation's goals and aspirations while reaffirming the commitment to empowering graduate students and strengthening their role within the TCU community. The ceremony concluded with a closing statement from Mr. Timothy John Aquino, Vice President for Internal Affairs of the FGSSS, who expressed his excitement for the opportunities ahead.

In a groundbreaking moment for Taguig City University (TCU), the Federation of Graduate School Student Society (FGSSS)โthe first of its kind at the universityโhas been officially accredited by the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) under the leadership of Dean Dr. Melida Polita, CESO VI.
The recognition marks a major achievement not only for the university but also for Mr. Redine Ehem, a Master in Public Administration student, who serves as the first-ever President of the Federation. Through his vision, dedication, and leadership, Mr. Ehem successfully unified the graduate school student body composes of MPASS, MBASS, MSCJSS and MAEDSS โmaking history by establishing an official platform for postgraduate student representation at TCU.
This accomplishment was made possible through the invaluable support of the officers and the guidance of Dr. Amalia Rosales, Dean of the Graduate School, whose collaborative efforts were pivotal in securing the accreditation.
During the awarding ceremony on May 5, 2025, held at the OSAS office in TCU, Mr. Ehem was congratulated by Dr. Polita as he received the Certificate of Recognition on behalf of the Federation and the program societies.
This pioneering accreditation represents a historic step forward in student governance at the graduate level. It signals a new era of engagement, leadership, and academic collaboration within TCU.

MBA Society Uplifts Single Mothers Through EmpowerHER Community Program
TCU Graduate Students Continue to Champion Inclusive Service in Taguig
The Taguig City University Master in Business Administration Student Society (MBA Society) successfully conducted a meaningful community outreach program entitled โEmpowerHER: A Community Upliftment Program for Single Mothersโ at Barangay Upper Bicutan, Taguig City last June 14, 2025.
The initiative brought together 30 single mothers from the community to participate in a day filled with support, inspiration, and empowerment. The program included a motivational talk, interactive games, raffles, giveaways, and a talent showcase featuring singing and dancing, with prizes awarded to standout performers.

On April 9, 2025, the Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management students from Section MAED 1A held an impactful leadership seminar and a heartwarming feeding program at Upper Bicutan National High School.
This activity aimed to empower the youth of Taguig City and help uncover their potential by providing meaningful insights on purposeful and impactful leadership.
The seminar was spearheaded by Mr. Chudney Prinze Dionisio, President of the MAED Student Society and the Public Relation Officer of the Taguig City University Federation of Graduate School Student Societies (TCU-FGSSS), in collaboration with Mrs. Flordelie Mendiola head organizer and head facilitator of the seminar.
Ms. Rosielyn Bonita, and Ms. Roselyn Alcala Officers of the MAED Student Society together with Mr. Ariane Ray Cruz, served as keynote speakers during the event, delivering insightful discussions on fostering critical thinking and encouraging a strong spirit of collaboration among the students, who remained fully engaged throughout the program.
This successful initiative was made possible by the dedicated working committees composed of Mr. Caesar Ali Porillo, Ms. Angelica Cabe, Ms. Mia France Moraleda, Ms. Eicille Duque Officers of the MAED Student Society together with Ms. Je-an Ruel, Mrs. Rubynita Bawagan, Ms. Ronalie Maco and Mr. Angelo Amaro.
A big shoutout to their inspiring Graduate School professor, Dr. Rosario Andaya, for making this meaningful opportunity possible.
