ISOG, in cooperation with ABP Securite Philippines and , successfully held an exclusive Technical Briefing Thursday session entitled โFrom Intelligence to Impact: Building a Future-Ready CTI Program with Automation and AI.โ The session gathered cybersecurity leaders, practitioners, and decision-makers for an engaging discussion on the evolving cyber threat landscape and the growing importance of building modern, scalable, and intelligence-driven Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) programs fully integrated with security operations.
The session explored how organizations can align CTI initiatives with business risk and strategic priorities while leveraging automation and artificial intelligence to enhance threat analysis, streamline intelligence workflows, and reduce alert fatigue. On March 26, the Information Security Officers Group (ISOG) hosted a Technical Breakfast Thursday (TBT) session in collaboration with Delinea, focusing on identity-based attacks and organizational defenses. The session brought together cybersecurity practitioners and industry leaders to explore practical strategies for safeguarding critical systems against account takeover and related threats.
Mr. Edwin Patricio, Solutions Engineer at Delinea, provided insights into emerging identity-based threats and demonstrated actionable measures organizations can implement to reduce exposure. He highlighted how account takeovers often serve as gateways for larger breaches, emphasizing the importance of proactive identity and access management practices.
Ms. Julie Reyes, Group Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Maya Philippines, Inc., shared her expertise on โBuilding Risk and Compliance from the Ground Up: A Fintech Journey.โ She discussed how fintech organizations can design robust risk and compliance frameworks that meet regulatory requirements while strengthening operational resilience against digital threats.
The session offered participants practical guidance on preventing account takeover risks while providing a roadmap for enhancing risk and compliance programs, particularly within the fintech sector.
