On 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, scholars from across the National Capital Region gathered at the PICC Reception Hall for the 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧-𝗦𝗘𝗜 𝗘𝘅𝗶𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲—a meaningful milestone marking both the culmination of years of dedication and the beginning of a greater purpose.

More than a celebration of achievements, the Exit Conference served as a reminder of the responsibility that comes with being 𝙞𝙨𝙠𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣. As we step beyond the university, we carry not only our knowledge and skills, but also a deeper calling—𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲, 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼.

A three-day 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿’𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 (𝗦𝗟𝗖) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗡𝗖𝗥 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟮 was held at 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹, 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 from 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟲 𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, during which SLC delegates stayed for five days. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀' 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀. It brought excitement and a fulfilling experience for them. The camp encourages the scholars to step out of their comfort zones and allows them to be themselves as individuals. Through fun challenges, discussions, and inspiring talks from the camp speakers, the scholars gained lifelong knowledge and wisdom.

The experience is indeed full of 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲! One step closer to becoming 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿. As 𝑫𝒓. 𝑩𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐 𝑪. 𝑷𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒓 said, “𝑫𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒂𝒇𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒑𝒔. 𝑹𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕.” The scholars are encouraged to take the leap of faith in this journey, and build a preeminent future as scholar-leaders.

Along with serving others, they must not forget themselves. The leadership camp allowed the scholars to express themselves and be free from judgment, pressure, expectations, and the burdens they carry. It paves the way for them to share various experiences and struggles, which serves as their stepping stone for serving with purpose.

Last 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟲–𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the Technological University of the Philippines - Taguig celebrated its 𝟰𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸. The celebration would not be complete without turning up the heat from various activities held inside the campus. Our booth helped in 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗’𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗧 💦 for everyone, from refreshing drinks to sweet treats🍹🍪.

This successful event would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our officers who facilitated, as well as the students who visited, supported, and actively participated in our booth. Your energy, enthusiasm, and presence made all the difference.

Yesterday, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, a devastating fire broke out in 𝗣𝘂𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻, 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗹𝘂𝗽𝗮. Unfortunately, one of our members, our treasurer, Mary Joy Dequin, was directly affected by this incident.

As an organization, we want to come together to support and help them recover from the losses caused by this unfortunate incident. We are reaching out to our community and friends to ask for donations to assist our friend in this time of need.
