"BILANGGO NG KATAHIMIKAN"
This short film tells the deeply moving story of a young boy in his town, initially trapped by his inability to speak. His world transforms with the arrival of a compassionate teacher who introduces him to the profound power of sign language. What begins as a personal journey of communication quickly blossoms: empowered by his new voice, he courageously shares basic sign language on social media, becoming an unexpected advocate. This initial spark ignites a movement, leading him to teach countless students, empowering them to communicate through their hands. Twenty years later, his unwavering dedication culminates in the establishment of the Tinig ng Katahimikan Foundation, a beacon of hope that allows many to finally speak with their hands and embrace a life of freedom and expression. This film is a testament to how one voice, once silent, can inspire a symphony of change.
Note:
We apologize if the editing is not perfect and if there are any mistakes in the sign language used. We have no intention of disrespecting or offending the deaf-mute community. We are continuously learning and striving to improve in our future projects.
