Welcome back Grade School Learners!

The Grade School Library Personnel conducted Library Orientation to Grade 1, transferees, and new enrolled grade school learners in Holy Name University - Grade School for S. Y. 2026-2027.

The Holy Name University Learning Resource Center (LRC) collaborated with the Holy Name University Central Student Government (CSG) in conducting an Outreach Activity and Book Donation at Busao Elementary School, Maribojoc, Bohol, on February 14, 2026.

During the activity, the LRC promoted the Book Nook HNU Tagbilaran to the community, encouraging a love for reading and learning beyond the university campus. The event was further enriched by the participation of the HNU Ambassadors—contestants from different colleges, including CAS, CBA, COED, and COECS and IBED —who conducted a storytelling session for the grade school learners of Busao Elementary School. 📚✨

📚✨ In Celebration of National Book Week ✨📚

Last November 26, 2025, the Grade School Library successfully conducted the Storytelling Contest and Literary Characterization Contest as part of the National Book Week celebration.

The event highlighted the creativity, confidence, and literary appreciation of our talented students as they brought stories and characters to life.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our esteemed judges for their time and expertise, and to our dedicated librarians for their hard work and commitment in making this activity a success.

The Grab a Book activity was a delightful and engaging experience for our grade school pupils. 📖
They actively participated and showed great enthusiasm as they explored different books. Corresponding prizes were awarded to the participants as a token of appreciation.
