Ronaldo Carballo delivered a sharp and straightforward message to Eman Bacosa Pacquiao following the news about his contract with GMA7 Sparkle. According to Carballo, he’s glad for Eman’s new opportunity, but he’s not entirely confident about what lies ahead.

He said he’s genuinely happy that Eman was signed by the network, but he questioned whether GMA7 Sparkle has the capability to build him up as a real star. “I am happy na pinapirma ka ng GMA7 Sparkle. Pero good luck Eman, ha. Ewan ko kung mapapasikat ka ng GMA7 bilang artista.”

Carballo went on to criticize Sparkle’s talent management, expressing frustration about how many of their actors especially struggling but deserving ones are not given the chance to shine. “Papirma lang nang papirma ang GMA7 Sparkle, wala naman silang napapasikat talaga. Ang daming deserving sumikat na struggling actors sa Sparkle, hindi naman nila napapasikat!”

He then suggested that Eman should reconsider pursuing showbiz and perhaps focus more on boxing, where he already has a solid identity. Carballo noted that while Eman is good-looking, the competition within Sparkle’s roster is intense. “Naku, kung ako sa iyo, Eman, mag-concentrate ka na lang sa boxing. May itsura ka naman, Eman. Pero mas maraming mas gwapo sa iyo sa kwadra ng GMA7 Sparkle Artists, ni walang mga career, nakatengga, hindi nila mapasikat.”

He ended his message with a blunt remark about Eman’s appeal, claiming that his looks fit more of a “neighborhood guy” rather than someone with the strong on-screen presence needed for mainstream showbiz. “Ikaw pa kaya Emman Bacosa na gwapong pang-kapitbahay lang at hindi naman mukhang pang-artista talaga?”
