Research, Development and Extension Services (RD&E) of City College of Tagaytay (CCT) invites 4th Year Students and Alumni of CCT from different schools to present their completed research from their research courses in the upcoming CCT Research Conference 2026.

We also warmly encourage CCT Faculty Researchers to present their research outputs and contribute to the advancement of research within the institution.

This in-house research conference aims to showcase scholarly work and promote a strong research culture within the CCT academic community.

Last February 27, 2026, at the AVR, City College of Tagaytay (CCT) and the Commission on Population and Development CALABARZON (CPD CALABARZON) formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), strengthening collaboration in Gender and Development (GAD), population education, research, and community extension.

The MOU was signed by Ms. Cheryl Marie A. Malayan, Project Officer II, on behalf of Ms. Marilyn F. Ogaya, Regional Director of CPD CALABARZON; Mr. Ferdinand V. Mendoza, RPsy, College President of CCT; and Mr. Dan Sanares, Nurse III, Head Nurse of the Tagaytay City Health Office. Also present during the ceremony were Mr. Tomasito Veneracion, Director for Research, Development and Extension,

A key highlight of the event was the leadership of Ms. Marizelle M. Dimaranan, CCT GAD Focal Person, whose dedication continues to advance gender-responsive and inclusive programs within the institution. This partnership reflects CCT’s strong commitment to translating GAD advocacies into concrete, research-based, and sustainable community initiatives.

Last Friday, February 27, 2026, the City College of Tagaytay (CCT) and Barangay Kaybagal South, Tagaytay City officially sealed their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing held at the AVR.

This meaningful event marks the launch of the Adopt-A-Barangay Program, the flagship program of CCT Extension Services, aimed at strengthening community engagement, collaboration, and sustainable development initiatives.

The Memorandum of Agreement was formally signed by Hon. Amanda Guadaña Manalo, Barangay Captain of Barangay Kaybagal South, Tagaytay City, and Mr. Ferdinand V. Mendoza, RPsy, College President of City College of Tagaytay. The signing was witnessed by Hon. Maritess De Rojas, Councilor of Barangay Kaybagal South and Committee Chair on Education; Mr. Tomasito Veneracion, Director for Research, Development and Extension; and Mr. Eduardo S. Panulin, Extension Head of City College of Tagaytay.

This partnership symbolizes a shared commitment to empower the community through education, extension programs, and collaborative initiatives.

𝐑𝐃𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 | 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐉𝐌𝐏 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐃𝐄 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞

Last February 18, 2026, the Research and Development and Extension (RDE) Office warmly welcomed the officials of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology BJMP TAGAYTAY CJMD headed by JCINSP Arnel B. Anchales, City Jail Warden.

The BJMP delegation was received by Mr. Eduardo S. Panulin, Extension Head; Mr. Tomasito B. Veneracion, RDE Head; and Mr. Ferdinand V. Mendoza, College President.

The meeting centered on the discussion of a proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the two institutions. Key points included the conduct of entrepreneurship seminars and the possible offering of TESDA-accredited programs for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs). This initiative aims to equip PDLs with valuable skills and knowledge to support their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to community development, restorative programs, and inclusive opportunities for growth.

On February 18, 2026, Dr. Eduardo E. Panulin, Extension Head of City College of Tagaytay (CCT) together with CCT extension coordinators, visited the Provincial Office of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)–Cavite to discuss the renewal of their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and other possible programs/projects.

The meeting was held at the DTI Cavite Provincial Office, Trece Martires City with OIC Provincial Director Lilibeth R. Chavez and OIC Division Chief of Business Development Division Julita Salvacion. The discussion focused on continuing and strengthening the partnership between CCT and DTI in implementing extension programs, supporting MSMEs, and student-related activities.

The CCT Extension Services Team conducted a courtesy visit today to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Cavite at the Capitol Compound, Trece Martires City, Cavite, to formally discuss the proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for partnership and collaboration.

The meeting was attended by Provincial Director Ms. Lilibeth R. Chavez and OIC Chief of the Business Development Division Ms. Julita C. Salvacion from DTI–Cavite. Representing CCT were Mr. Eduardo S. Panulin, Extension Head; Mr. Tomhardi G. Gadlan, RDE Staff; and Mr. Russl M. Yarte, SED Research Coordinator.

The discussion focused on establishing a strengthened institutional partnership aimed at advancing extension initiatives, research collaboration, and community development programs within the province of Cavite.

The Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) Office successfully conducted the Research Grant Proposal Presentation at the Audio-Visual Room (AVR), Old Building, City College of Tagaytay. The activity aimed to evaluate, refine, and provide expert feedback on proposed research projects for possible funding support, while ensuring their relevance, feasibility, and alignment with the institution’s research agenda.

The activity was organized and facilitated by the RDE Office under the leadership of Mr. Tomasito Veneracion, RDE Director, together with Mr. Luis Carlo Binala, Research Head, and the RDE Staff. The event was participated in by research proponents from the different schools and offices of the City College of Tagaytay.

The presentation was fully supported by the college administration and was enriched by the valuable insights and guidance shared by College President Mr. Ferdinand Mendoza and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Ivy Fe M. Hong.

Serving as members of the panel of evaluators were Ms. Rizza Gatpandan, Dean of the School of Education; Dr. Hazel Garcia, Director of Admission and Registration; Dr. Jennifer M. Abellana, Dean of the School of Business and Management; and Mr. Noel Garcia, Department Head of the School of Computer Studies.

The presenters included Mr. Gerald Ello, Mr. Luis Carlo Binala, and Mr. Tomasito Veneracion from the RDE Office; Ms. Jeferlyn Añonuevo, Dean of the School of Computer Studies, together with her advisees in collaboration with the Guidance and Counseling Unit; and Ms. Joseline Gervacio, Research Coordinator of the School of Business and Management.

This activity reflects the institution’s continued commitment to strengthening research initiatives and promoting academic excellence.

Earlier today, February 3, 2026, the Research, Development, and Extension Services (RDE), led by Mr. Tomasito Veneracion, Director, together with Mr. Luis Carlo Binala, Research Head, Mr. Eduardo S. Panulin, Extension Head, and the RDE staff, paid a courtesy call to our newly appointed College President, Mr. Ferdinand Mendoza.
