Eh Eh.. TECHNOLOGIA TECHNOLOGIAA!!๐ฑ๐ท๐ก๐พ๐ฅ๏ธ
Bonjour!! La R***e is back with another amazing sigma post! And this time its all about the Ninth Lesson of Media. Its all about โsmart techโ or Future Innovations that weโll probably see in the near future๐๐๐ Everyone has heard of smart watches, smartphones, smart televisions and such but how about new smart innovations that are slowly being brought to the spotlight of technology. La R***e found three new and shocking inventions that we can surely expect sooner or later to rise and be the new trend of our generation๐ฅ๐ฅ
Erm Actually..๐ค๐๐ป, Glasses arent just for handsome and beautiful faces with bad eyesight. They can now be used for other things too!! Featuring the โXREAL Smart Glassesโ They dont just fix your blurry eyesight anymore, they bring your phone with it too!! These glasses are very lightweight meaning maximum comfort, adjustable to our bad or good eyesight and of course its can make us use online media without our phones. If you wanna watch YouTube or Tiktok and dont have your phone? These glasses got you!! You can freely watch your favorite content in these glasses and dont expect bad quality too since these bad boys can play up to 120 FPS and 2160p meaning you can see every small detail in smooth motion๐๐ Who said glasses are for nerds when theyre cleary becoming for the advanced.
Mimimimii..๐ด..Mimiimii๐ช
Are you a heavy sleeper like me? Then let me introduce you to the โEight Sleep Ultra Pod 4โ Donโt judge this bed by its cover because it might look like the average bed but itโs actually more than what meets the eye. This bad boy can do everything you can ever ask for when sleeping. For starters it monitors your sleep schedule and it can monitor your sleep hours, the sleep quality and even your heart rate! Not to mention with this it tries to find the best temperature based on your habits and temperature of the environment. Itโs automatic but also adjustable if you would like to make some small tweaks. It can also adjust the softness if you want to sink in the foam or be a caveman sleeping on rocks. It had great feature and it has good health benefits too!! Experts say you fall asleep 44% faster, improve the time of deep sleep by 34%, Reduce 45% of your snoring if you snore really loud and reduce waking up at night by 23%. I also forgot that it has its own alarm which wakes you up without making you feel like a soldier in the military. Not bad for a bed๐๐
I shoot my shot.. AND ITS GREEN๐ฃ๏ธ๐ฃ๏ธ
Want a jumpshot smooth like water๐ฆ, hot as fire๐ฅand a shooting stroke as cold as ice? ๐งWanna go to the local court and hit everyshot like youโre playing NBA2K in real life? Well then the โSolidSHOT Arm Sleeveโ is definitely for you! This is not just a regular arm sleeve but a very smart one. After some practice shots, itโll automatically detect how you shoot and find the best โrelease windowโ for you to make your shots as much as possible. These are now being used by certain growing players to improve their shooting stroke and be more effective on the basketball court. When shooting the ball, it will automatically detect and once it knows it will light up signaling you to release the ball for a high percentage shot. It also gives you feedback if your shot was good, Green if perfect, Blue for Okay and Red for bad. This is acknowledged by Jerry West the formal basketball player, Hall of Fame, Los Angeles Lakers Legend and the Logo of the National Basketball Association. He said โPhenomenal shooting system for both experienced and young players serious about improving their shooting skills.โ Even NBA players have noticed improvement after only one training session with it. This can make anyone a sniper if used with consistency and can make anyone a great if they have that Mamba Mentality.
And.. thats about it๐ง What more โsmartโ innovations do you know? Tell us in the comments

๐บ๐ฐ Ever notice how media isnโt just about news or entertainmentโitโs also about ๐ฅ๐ค๐ฌ๐๐ง ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ข๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ฎ?
โจ ๐จ๐ฉ๐บ-๐ช๐ฉ๐ต was the ๐ฝ๐๐๐๐๐๐ TV network in the Philippines, reaching millions through TV, radio, and film. But when its franchise renewal got blocked in 2020, screens went dark for countless households. It wasnโt just about losing showsโit revealed how politics can silence even the most powerful media giants when their reporting clashes with those in power.
โจ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐, on the other hand, started as a small online newsroom built for the digital age. Fueled by ads, partnerships, and community support, it pushed stories that challenged fake news and government narratives. But that independence came at a costโlawsuits, constant political pressure, and questions about its survival. Still, it continues to stand as a symbol of fearless, independent journalism.
Together, these stories show that media isnโt neutralโitโs a battlefield where ownership, money, and politics decide what voices get amplified, and which ones get silenced.

La R***eโs insightzz๐ฅ๐ค๐ก: Reflections of the gang on their past life choices
There were many moments in the past where media literacy would have been incredibly useful, especially when we encountered misleading or false information online. For example, everyone of us used to share posts on social media without checking if the source was reliable, which sometimes led to spreading misinformation. If the gang had known how to analyze the credibility of sources, understand biases, and verify facts, we could have made more responsible decisions and helped others stay informed.
Media literacy would have also helped us recognize manipulative people online, such as hackers or data brokers, and respond more critically instead of reacting impulsively.

๐ฅ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ช๐ ๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ค๐ก๐
Before learning about Media and Information Literacy, we all had our own thoughts about what media is really used for. Is it just for fun? Is it for news, learning, or sharing stories online?
As La R***e came together, we asked each other a simple question:
โWhat do you think media is mostly used for?โ
The answers were different and interesting. Some said itโs for entertainment, others said communication or education. Some werenโt sure, and thatโs okay too.
This was the start of our MIL journey. These were our thoughts before we understood how powerful media really is. Hereโs a look at our red and gold family, figuring it all out together.

Perception: Avant Et Aprรฉs
๐ทThis collage traces how our view of media has grown. We used to think it was nothing more than snapping photos, adding a filter, and scrolling for laughs. But once we started digging deeper, we saw how every post, clip, and headline can sway opinions, spotlight issues, and even spark change. Now we notice the stories behind the images, the voices amplified and the way it all shapes how we see ourselves and the world. What began as mindless scrolling has turned into mindful watching, questioning, and sharing. This piece is our reminder that media isnโt just background noise, itโs a powerful force we all play a part in. We hope this community continues to grow larger, and to give people more inspiration to also learn about M.I.L and the proper use of it ๐ป๐๏ธ.

๐ธ La R***eโs First Glimpse: Meeting the Gang Before Media Literacy!
Before we learned about media and how it really works, we all had our own thoughts, questions, and even some wrong ideas. Some of us thought media was just about TV or phones, while others believed everything we see online must be true. But meeting as La R***e, our red and gold family, we started to share, listen, and laugh about how different but yet alike our thoughts were.
This is the beginning of our journey. The raw and real version of us, before MIL shaped how we understand the power of media. Together, weโll learn, grow, and reflect. But for now, hereโs a look at who we were before we knew what media literacy really meant.
