"Buena Mano"

A heartfelt thank you to Miss D. Solis, an OJT student from BSOA 4-1, for her generous donation of bougainvillea. Her gesture embodies the spirit of “Atin Ito”--a mindset of accountability and ownership that supports CCT’s long-term vision of a Clean and Green Campus.

The RDE office welcomes flower donations from all stakeholders. Together, let’s make CCT a cleaner and greener place!

𝗖𝗖𝗧 𝗚𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗨𝗦𝗧 & 𝗨𝗣! ✨

In its pursuit of excellence and service improvements, the Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) Services is expanding its networks!🫡 By attending the seminars hosted by prestigious well-known universities in the Philippines such as University of the Philippines and University of Sto. Tomas, RDE office is engaging in benchmarking and creating larger networks. 📄🔍

The RDE Director, Mr. Tom Veneracion; the Director of Guidance and Counseling Services Unit, Mr. Ferdinand Mendoza; the Dean of the School of Education, the Head of Research and Development Service Unit, Mr. Luis Carlo Binala; and the Head of Extension Services Unit, Mr. Sonny Boy Juane attended the seminar “The Vital Role Critical Race Theory (CHT) Plays in the Pursuit of Social Justice through Inclusive and Liberal Education for Educators: Global Relevance and Best Practices” at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, on February 5, 2025. 👏🏻🪅

On February 7-8, 2025 the same team attended the 5th PSALM (Passion for Scholarship and Love for Mission) International Conference on Teacher Education and Formation, with a theme “Decolonization of Education through/of Research.” 🌟

A key highlight of this seminar is the paper presentation by Sir Luis Carlo Binala. A philosophical pedagogue, Sir Luis embraces reflection, collaboration, and a holistic view in education, fostering critical thinking, emotional health, and adaptability. His path to this role is shaped by diverse life experiences, enriching his dedication to education as a force for transformation. By presenting himself as "not part of the system but within it," he aims to inspire reflection on teacher identity and decolonizing perspectives for the benefit of humanity. 🫡🧷✨

Trusting the process means believing that every step—no matter how small or challenging—has a purpose. 🌱✨ Growth isn’t always visible, and success doesn’t happen overnight, but patience and perseverance turn struggles into strength.

Keep moving forward, even when it’s hard to see the finish line. Trust yourself, trust the journey, and remember: the best things take time. 🙌🏻
