Planning Workshop Activity: Day 2

The Planning Workshop for the EVSU Main Campus was successfully conducted with active participation from campus planning heads and representatives. In the morning session, each campus presented and discussed their latest status, accomplishments, and ongoing concerns. Participants collectively assessed key updates and identified performance gaps that require improvement across their respective campuses.

In the afternoon session, Engr. Roque Costiniano, IPDO Director, served as the discussant for the workshop proper on aligning planning operations with the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The activity guided participants through environmental scoping, identifying stakeholder requirements, assessing risks associated with unmet requirements, and crafting strategies to achieve institutional goals.

The Planning Office extends its appreciation and congratulations to all participants for their meaningful contributions, active engagement, and commitment to strengthening the University’s planning processes.

Planning Workshop Activity | Day 1 – Afternoon Session

Happening Now: The EVSU Main Planning Office resumes its Planning Workshop Activity with our GIS mapper and resource speaker, Mr. Oriel Jay Ibañez, leading the afternoon session.

He shared valuable insights and facilitated a hands-on workshop on creating and visualizing maps using the GIS Mapping Software, empowering participants to enhance their technical skills for data-driven planning and development.

Planning Workshop Activity: Day 1

The Planning Office of EVSU Main Campus is currently facilitating the first day of the Two-Day Planning Workshop Activity for planning officers, planning heads, and staff from the various planning offices across campuses. The workshop is being conducted at the ORDEX Training Room, EVSU Main Campus.

IPDO Director Engr. Roque Costiniano delivered the opening remarks, setting the tone for the workshop. This was followed by the first lecture presented by Environmental Planner and Planning Head Mr. Julius Ken Badeo, titled “Mapping Processes for Planning and Decision-Making.”

The activity marks a significant step toward strengthening planning practices and enhancing coordination among campus planning units.
