LNU Freshmen Class Organization

𝑼𝒏𝒘𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒃𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎. 𝑼𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒃𝒚 𝒚𝒐𝒖.

There is freedom in realizing we don't need to understand every single detail of someone’s journey to fundamentally respect it. Society has spent way too long telling people who they should be, and it’s time to change the narrative.

We all deserve the basic human right to write our own stories without the world trying to hold the pen.

𝗕𝗣𝗘𝗗, 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗦𝗜𝗧 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗙𝗜𝗧 𝟮 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 ‘𝟮𝟲

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜: First-year students clinched the championship awards for the Morning and Afternoon sessions in the PATHFIT 2: Culminating Activity Resistance Band Challenge 2026.

Hailed as the Grand Champion for the Morning Session was BPED EP12.

The group also received special awards such as Best in Choreography and Best Musicality.

Meanwhile, BACOMM AC11 and BSIT AI11 won Grand Champion for the Afternoon Session.

Said tandem also secured the Best in Costume and Best in Choreography awards.

For the Morning Session, BPED EP11 bagged first place, followed by BSTM MT11 in second place, which also earned the Best in Costume award.

Moreover, BSTM MT12 ranked third, while BMME AK11 landed fourth.

In the Afternoon Session, BSHM MH13 and BSED SF12 earned first place, while BSED SE12 and BSHM MH11 placed second.

Placing third were BSED SC11 and BAPOS AP11, while BSSW AS12, BAEL AE11, and BEED EE11 won fourth place.

Additionally, the Best Musicality award for the said session was given to SC12 and EC11.

The culminating activity highlighted the freshmen’s practical application of fitness principles, testing their physical endurance, muscular strength, and group coordination.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗙𝗖𝗢) successfully conducted its much-awaited 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮 last 𝘔𝘢𝘺 1-3, 2026, virtually via Zoom

The event highlighted the bona fide first-year students of Leyte Normal University for the academic year 2025-2026 actively participating in the sessions. The program featured an overview of the organization, the introduction of the FCO officers, a meaningful CBL discussion, and the highly anticipated announcement of our official identity as 𝑩𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝑺𝒊𝒅𝒉𝒂𝒚𝒂

Truly, this marks another milestone for the Freshmen Class Organization as it continues to advocate for the full representation and holistic development of all first-year students.

Forty years ago, the voice of the Filipino people transformed the nation along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue. During the historic People Power Revolution, citizens demonstrated that the strength of a democracy lies not in weapons or political machinery, but in collective civic action.

In February 1986, millions confronted the dictatorship of Ferdinand Marcos Sr. with courage, discipline, faith, and unity. Within four days, a regime once thought immovable collapsed under the moral force of an awakened citizenry.

Bilang isang organisasyong binubuo ng kabataan at mag aaral, kinikilala namin na ang EDSA ay hindi lamang alaala ng nakaraan. Isa itong buhay na aral sa kasalukuyan. Aral na ang demokrasya ay hindi kusang nananatili. Ito ay ipinaglalaban, inaalagaan, at pinananagot.

𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝘀𝗮 𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗔 nagtatapos ang 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙖-𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙠𝙞𝙗𝙖𝙠𝙖. Tumindig sila at nakibaka noon, tayo naman ang #𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗴 ngayon.

𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗛𝗠𝗘𝗡 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗟𝗡𝗨 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦’ 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Freshmen Class Organization participated in the first-ever 𝗟𝗡𝗨 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀: 𝗔 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, held on February 20, 2026, at the HRDC Multi-Purpose Hall. The event brought together student leaders from academic, non-academic, and year-level organizations to discuss governance, representation, and student advocacy.

The participation of the Freshmen Class Organization highlights their commitment to representing first-year students and engaging in university-wide leadership initiatives. Representing the organization were President 𝗟𝗲𝗺𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿, Vice President 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗼, Secretary 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸 𝗗𝘄𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗺, Treasurer 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻, Auditor II 𝗝𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗼 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗮, and Public Information Officer 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗮.

During the Student Situationer segment, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗺𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, voicing the concerns and experiences of his peers. His contribution underscored the importance of student-centered leadership and constructive engagement within the university.

The organization’s involvement reflects a generation of student leaders unafraid to speak, act, and represent their peers with integrity.
