Conduct of School-Based Targeted Earthquake Drill
Leyte National High School

In accordance with DepEd Order No. 21, s. 2015 titled “Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Procedures,” Leyte National High School will conduct a School-Based Targeted Earthquake Drill on October 21–22, 2025.

This activity aims to:
✅ Enhance earthquake preparedness among learners and personnel;
✅ Evaluate the functionality of existing evacuation procedures and routes; and
✅ Identify areas for improvement in the school’s DRRM Plan.

All teaching, non-teaching personnel, and learners are enjoined to actively participate in this activity. Everyone is reminded to observe proper procedures , Duck, Cover, and Hold , and to follow designated evacuation routes and safety protocols.

Let us all take part in ensuring the safety and preparedness of our school community.
Safety is everyone’s responsibility.

We are pleased to announce that 250 slots are now available for additional Grade 11 students. This development comes after our assessment of Grade 11 classroom capacity during the conduct of Brigada Eskwela 2025, and the confirmation that not all of our Grade 10 completers from LNHS have enrolled.

Therefore, we are opening these slots to interested students from other schools who wish to pursue their Senior High School education at Leyte National High School.
