Hi everyone, thanks for supporting our Project Tacloban page! This December, Project Tacloban, a student-led OCSP in SMU, will be travelling to Tacloban, Phillippines for the first time. “My first service trip to Cambodia inspired me to join Project Tacloban. I did not give much thought into the idea of serving others at first, but my experience in Cambodia taught me so much about the world around me, especially on humility and open-mindedness. Which is why, I am looking forward to join more community service trips like Project Tacloban as I believe that it is a great opportunity for me to learn and be more compassionate about my surroundings.”

“I always have a fascination with fairy tales. What I love most about them are the deeper lessons they can offer - about finding your passion and using your mind to ensure that you achieve your dreams. Like what a famous author once said: fairy tales are more than true not because they prove that dragons exists, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.”
