HVSSI Celebrates Unity and Service Through Outreach Program and Mr. & Miss ASEAN 2026
September 12, 2026— The Holy Virgin of Salvacion School, Inc. (HVSSI) successfully held its Outreach Program and Mr. & Miss ASEAN 2026, bringing together students, faculty, and members of the school community in a celebration of service, unity, cultural diversity, and leadership.
The event commenced with the participation of the HVSSI Band, setting a lively and festive atmosphere for the day’s activities. This was followed by a feeding program, which reflected the school’s commitment to extending care and service to the community.
The formal program continued with the welcome remarks of the School Director, Ma’am Conchita Uy-Merin, who warmly welcomed the participants and guests and emphasized the significance of coming together through meaningful activities that promote service and unity.
The much-anticipated Mr. & Miss ASEAN 2026 then took center stage. The candidates opened the competition with a vibrant production number, showcasing their confidence, energy, and stage presence. This was followed by the talent competition, where the candidates demonstrated their diverse skills and creativity.
The candidates next showcased the rich cultural heritage of the ASEAN region through the Traditional Attire Competition, highlighting the beauty and uniqueness of the different member nations. The competition culminated in the Question-and-Answer portion, where the candidates expressed their thoughts on relevant issues and demonstrated their eloquence, confidence, and understanding of the ASEAN spirit.
After a highly anticipated competition, the winners were announced:
3rd Place: Mr. Cambodia and Miss Indonesia
2nd Place: Mr. Myanmar and Miss Cambodia
1st Place: Mr. Indonesia and Miss Timor-Leste
Mr. & Miss ASEAN 2026: Mr. Singapore and Miss Singapore
The successful celebration would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the people behind the event. Special appreciation is extended to the Supreme Student Council (SSC) of both the High School and College Departments for their valuable efforts, cooperation, and commitment in making the event a meaningful and memorable success.
The Outreach Program and Mr. & Miss ASEAN 2026 served not only as a celebration of culture and talent but also as a reminder that education goes beyond the classroom. Through service, cultural appreciation, and active participation, the HVSSI community continues to foster compassionate leadership, unity, and a stronger sense of community.
