Photos from the academic performance held last Tuesday, April 14, under the subject 𝓟𝓸𝓵𝓲𝓽𝓲𝓬𝓼 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓖𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓻𝓷𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓮 𝓲𝓷 𝓢𝓸𝓾𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓽 𝓐𝓼𝓲𝓪, a course for third-year Political Science students. The activity highlighted Southeast Asia’s cultural diversity through traditional dances and songs from ten countries, with the Philippines set aside to focus on its neighboring states.

Sections A and B showcased these cultural expressions, emphasizing how traditions and performance reflect each nation’s identity, history, and social values. Beyond artistic presentation, the activity offered a lens for understanding the political and cultural contexts that shape Southeast Asian societies.

By integrating cultural performance into the study of politics and governance, the presentation underscored the importance of regional awareness and the role of cultural heritage in shaping national identity and regional connections.

Sincere appreciation is extended to the judges for their time, insight, and valuable evaluation of the performances.

Political Science students successfully completed the three week Socially Innovative Global Classroom (SIGLOC) 2026, an international program organized by Osaka Metropolitan University and held online from March 02 to March20, 2026.

Through the Collaborative Online International Learning platform, the students engaged with international peers, participating in discussions and collaborative activities addressing global issues such as the Sustainable Development Goals, civic pride, and community resilience.

The program aims to develop future social innovators by enhancing their ability to identify challenges, design solutions, and implement ideas in real world contexts.

Their participation reflects a strong commitment to global learning and leadership, bringing pride to the institution and inspiring fellow students to excel beyond borders.
