Saint Tonis College, Inc. (STCI) โ College of Computing and Information Technology (CCIT) conducted a faculty meeting on May 14, 2026, led by Dean Sherry Mae M. Edades, MSIT, together with the BSIT faculty members, to discuss important matters concerning the departmentโs continuous growth and improvement.
One of the main topics discussed during the meeting was the recent CHED Visit conducted on May 13, 2026, including the areas that need improvement within the department. The faculty also talked about plans for possible new majors under the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program, enhancement of CCIT facilities, and preparations for the upcoming accreditation this September 2026, including ISO-related updates. In addition, the revision of CMO 2015 was discussed to ensure that the BSIT program remains aligned with current educational standards and industry needs.
The discussion also covered the tentative school calendar for Academic Year 2026โ2027, enrollment updates for all year levels, and the upcoming deliberation of graduates. Faculty members also shared plans and suggestions to further improve the quality of education and services offered by the department.
The meeting served as an opportunity for the faculty members to collaborate, share ideas, and strengthen their commitment to providing quality, innovative, and student-centered education for future IT professionals.

Saint Tonis College, Inc. (STCI) recently welcomed representatives from TESDA for the re-assessment and inspection of the Computer Systems Servicing (CSS) facilities as part of the continuation of the institutionโs accredited training center status. The activity focused on the evaluation of laboratories, equipment, tools, and other training facilities to ensure compliance with TESDA standards and requirements.
The reassessment was conducted by Senior TESDA Specialist Maโam Linda Noval together with Technical Expert Sir Rogelio A. Doctor. Through the efforts and coordination of Sir Keith Lyndon Pardito, ICT Director and Maโam Elsa Andaya, CSS Coordinator of Saint Tonis College, Inc. and faculty member of the College of Computing and Information Technology โ Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (CCIT-BSIT), the activity was successfully facilitated, reflecting the institutionโs commitment to maintaining quality technical-vocational education and industry-standard training facilities.
The activity also highlights the strong connection between TESDA competencies and the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program under the College of Computing and Information Technology (CCIT). Through Networking 1 and Networking 2 courses, BSIT students are encouraged to acquire the National Certificate II (NC II) in Computer Systems Servicing to further strengthen their technical knowledge and practical skills in computer hardware, networking, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
With the continued support for CSS training and certification, STCI strengthens its commitment to producing competent, industry-ready, and globally competitive IT professionals equipped with both academic excellence and technical competencies.

(STCI) successfully welcomed representatives from the Commission on Higher Education โ Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) for the CHED UniFAST Monitoring Visit held on May 13, 2026. The activity highlighted the institutionโs commitment to quality education, transparency, and continuous improvement in academic programs and student services.
During the visit, Mr. Darius B. Colloma, Education Supervisor II, conducted the evaluation at the College of Computing and Information Technology (CCIT), particularly the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program. The assessment focused on Curriculum and Instruction, Administration and Faculty, Research and Publication, and Laboratory and Physical Facilities, including classroom requirements, laboratory requirements, and audio-visual facilities. The successful monitoring reflects STCIโs dedication to providing accessible, innovative, and globally competitive education for its students and scholars.

BSIT Graduating Studentsโ Parent Meeting Held for Graduation Preparation.
A productive and meaningful meeting was recently conducted between the parents of the graduating students of the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), together with the College Dean, Sherry Mae M. Edades, and their adviser, Richard F. Faguinney.
The gathering aimed to discuss important matters in preparation for the upcoming graduation ceremonies and ensure that both students and parents are well-informed regarding academic and institutional requirements.
During the meeting, several significant agenda were tackled. One of the primary topics discussed was the current student status of each graduating candidate to determine their readiness for completion. Updates were also given regarding the requirements that still need to be submitted, reminding students and parents of the necessary documents and clearances to avoid delays in graduation processing.
This served as a reminder for students to finalize pending projects and comply with course requirements within the given deadlines.
The Dean and adviser also discussed the dates for the graduation rites and baccalaureate mass, allowing families to prepare ahead of time for these memorable milestones.
