The Editorial Board of the Opol National Secondary Technical School Publication officially opens its Screening and Interview Week for aspiring campus journalists!

To all applicants who have submitted their application forms, congratulations! Your application marks the beginning of a journey toward becoming part of a publication that values truth, integrity, accuracy, creativity, and responsible journalism.

📅 Screening & Interview Week: July 6–10, 2026

Please meet your assigned event coach to receive your screening schedule, venue, and important instructions. This stage of the screening process is your opportunity to demonstrate not only your skills but also your passion, critical thinking, and commitment to ethical journalism.

Whether your chosen field is News Writing, Sports Writing, Editorial Writing, Feature Writing, Science and Technology Writing, Copyreading and Headline Writing, Photojournalism, Editorial Cartooning, or Layout Design, we encourage you to give your best and let your potential shine.

To all incoming Grade 11 students, transferees, and Grade 12 learners:

Tomorrow, June 8, 2026 (Monday), marks the First Day of Classes for School Year 2026–2027! 🎒📚

We will also hold our First Monday Convocation and Flag-Raising Ceremony at the Opol NSTS Covered Court.

🕡 Assembly Time: Before 6:45 AM
📍 Venue: Opol NSTS Covered Court

👕 Dress Code:

🔹 Grade 11 Students and Transferees
• White shirt or polo shirt
• Black pants or maong pants (not tattered)
• No slippers allowed

🔹 Grade 12 Students
• Complete school uniform

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT | ONSTS-SHS ENROLLMENT ADVISORY

Please be informed that the SHS Registrar’s Office is open tomorrow from 8:30 AM to 12:00 NOON only to cater Grade 12 enrollees.

📌 Only incoming Grade 12 learners will be accommodated during the said schedule.

For incoming Grade 11 students who still wish to enroll at ONSTS-SHS, enrollment will resume on Monday, June 1, 2026, after the Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Program.

Everyone is encouraged to be guided accordingly and follow the designated enrollment schedule for a smooth and organized process.

HOLIDAY ADVISORY ‼️

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1264, declaring May 27, 2026 as a Regular Holiday Nationwide in observance of Eid’l Adha, Summer Classes/AFBP Classes are suspended on the said date.

Regular office operations and Summer Classes/AFBP Classes shall resume on May 28, 2026.

1) Original Copy of SF9 (School Report Card)
2) Accomplished Confirmation Slip

Late enrollees with complete requirements will still be accommodated on May 25, 2026, from 9:30 AM–2:00 PM. Just visit the ONSTS-SHS Registrar’s Office and kindly follow the instructions to ensure that you will be properly assisted.

Enrollment will continue TOMORROW, May 22, 2026, from 8:00 AM–12:00 Noon only. Please come as early as possible as some blocks are already filling up and limited slots remain. Slots are available on a first come, first served basis.
