The Division Staff Orientation Workshop (DSOW) for the 3-Day Division Training on the Offering of Transition Program of Secondary Schools was successfully conducted today, September 19, 2025, at CarolynA Hotel and Restaurant. 🏫📘

We extend our heartfelt acknowledgment and gratitude to Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Sir Alvin T. The Division recently conducted an orientation focused on effectively utilizing the Contextualized Individual Education Plan (IEP) to better support both graded and non-graded learners with disabilities. In reference to 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐄𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐍𝐨. 𝟎𝟐𝟐, 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏, 𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐝 “𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧,” and in solidarity with the 47th National Disability Rights Week on July 17–23, 2025, led by the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) with the theme: “Innovation for Inclusion: Building Inclusive Communities,” DepEd Region 5 enjoins all teaching and non-teaching personnel, schools, and stakeholders to actively participate in the celebration and uphold the advocacy for inclusive education and the rights of persons with disabilities.

This week is more than just a celebration—it is a powerful reminder that every child, every learner, and every individual—regardless of ability—deserves to be seen, heard, and given equal opportunities to grow and succeed.

Let us continue to foster empathy, innovation, and commitment as we work together to build schools and communities that embrace diversity and champion inclusivity.
