During the initial submission round, each Fellowship was presented with a real-life Community Hero facing distinct, pressing local problems. The challenge? To step into their shoes, confront the monsters impacting our communities, and build an innovative, actionable solutionโ€”their first Heroโ€™s Response.

Out of 35 teams who answered the call, the Council of Elders selected the Top 15 Fellowships to advance to the finals of the Heroes of Innovation Challenge 2026โ€”including our very own Team Eco Impact and JAM TECH! ๐ŸŒŸ

After earning their spots in the Top 15, both teams embarked on a high-stakes final stretch:
โ€ขDAY 1: Masterclass Mentorship Our finalists honed their solutions through intense, 1-on-1 mentoring sessions with industry professionals, corporate executives, and CEOs to sharpen their Heroโ€™s Gifts.
โ€ขDAY 2: The Final Pitch Competition Stepping into the arena, they presented their fully developed innovations before the Council of Elders to prove how their solutions would empower the people of Ibalong!
