On July 18, 2026, at 9:00 AM, Hinatuan National Comprehensive High School successfully conducted its 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED). Students, teachers, and school personnel actively participated in the activity by practicing proper earthquake safety procedures and emergency response protocols. Their cooperation and engagement highlighted the significance of preparedness and awareness in ensuring safety during disaster situations.

2-Day Basic Life Support (BLS) Training

On September 19-20, 2024, a 2-Day Basic Life Support Training was conducted, expertly led by the dedicated team from MDRRMO Hinatuan.

This comprehensive training equipped SDRRM and RCY rescuers with essential life-saving skills, including CPR, first aid, and bandaging techniques, through a combination of valuable information and hands-on practice. The engaging sessions emphasized the importance of quick and effective responses in emergencies, preparing us to act confidently when it matters most.

We are deeply grateful to MDRRMO Hinatuan for generously sharing their expertise and passion for community safety. Their commitment to equipping us with these vital skills was truly inspiring. Together, we are building a safer and more resilient environment for everyone.

July is National Disaster Resilience Month.

The Local Government Unit of Hinatuan through its Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council/Office headed by the MDRRMC Chairman/Municipal Mayor TiTing Garay will kick off the month-long celebration of the National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) tomorrow, July 1.

An early morning (6:30 a.m.) motorcade along Hinatuanโ€™s major thoroughfare will mark the start of the National Disaster Resilience Month.This will be followed by a Short Program at the Municipal Gymnasium.

EO No. 29 mandates the observance of NDRM "throughout the country through the conduct of activities relative to building of disaster resilience.โ€

Mayor Garay, Vice Mayor Atty. Tito Canedo III, Members of Sangguniang Bayan and MDRRMC encourage everyone to spread the message of disaster resiliency as our shared responsibility.

"Environmental cleanliness begins with each individual's desire to be clean."

For the promotion of environmental awareness, unity and collaboration, the school's SSLG took the initiative for a school clean up drive on February 8, 2023, namely the "Project iLET". With the participation of the school's clubs, the collaboration of each members and leadership of their chosen officers, this cleanup drive not only uplifted a clean and green school but also very much encouraged a great teamwork among all students within the school as well as the faculty and staffs.

Also considering the upcoming activities such as the unit meet this February 9-11 and the valentines day a lot of students are hopeful and excited for, this cleanup drive will serve as a preparation for the activities that will be held these coming days.

like any other clubs, the SDRRM club headed by their club president, also participated in this said cleanup drive to further boost the cleanliness within the school grounds and helped support the SSLG for their project iLET that not only contributed to environmental awareness but unity within the school as well.

On November 16-17, 2023, our very own SDRRM (School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management) Club took center stage at Hinatuan National Comprehensive High School for an Expo! But that's not all! The SDRRM Club stepped up as the backbone of emergency response during the thrilling Intramurals 2023. Our emergency responders were on standby, ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone involved.

From minor mishaps to cheering on participants, they exemplified what it means to be a team dedicated to the welfare of the school community.
