TCES Scouts Excel on Day 2 of BSP & GSP Encampment

Day 2 of the BSP & GSP Encampment at Tagbina Central Elementary School showcased the determination, discipline, and resilience of the young scouts as they faced a full schedule of outdoor challenges and rewarding experiences.

The day began with trail activities, where scouts navigated routes designed to test their alertness, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. From obstacle tasks to nature observation and station challenges, each group demonstrated cooperation and courage while enjoying the thrill of exploration.

In the afternoon, scouts participated in various team-building exercises, further strengthening their unity and leadership. Leaders expressed pride in the scouts’ enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout every activity.

The day concluded with the Awarding Ceremony, where outstanding scouts and patrols were recognized for their performance, discipline, and active participation. Cheers echoed throughout the campsite as winners received certificates and badges, symbolizing their hard work and dedication.

Day 2 ended on a high note, celebrating not only achievements but also the growth and camaraderie that make the scouting experience truly meaningful.

TCES Opens BSP & GSP Encampment with Skill-Building and Celebrations

Tagbina Central Elementary School kicked off its BSP & GSP Encampment today with a dynamic start. Day 1 featured essential scouting activities such as knot tying, where scouts showcased teamwork and practical skills.

As night fell, the campfire program brought energy and unity through songs, skits, and cheers. The evening concluded with the Coronation Rites of Mr. BSP & Ms. GSP King & Queen, highlighting the confidence and leadership of selected scouts.

Tagbina Central Elementary School (TCES) proudly emerged as the 1st Placer Overall Champion during the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2025, held at San Miguel, Surigao del Sur from November 9–12, 2025. The competition brought together the most talented campus journalists from various districts across the division to exhibit excellence in writing, and photojournalism.
