A big thank you as well to our supportive mentors and instructors Ma'am Jessa Jean Pande and Sir Iankim Paler, your guidance truly helped the team reach this win. A big thanks also to Surigao del Norte State University - Del Carmen Campus for the constant guidance, encouragement, and support throughout this activity. Your trust in the team made a huge difference and inspired them to do their best.

In light of the 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘪𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 that have affected Surigao del Norte and its surrounding areas, as well as the 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 for the much-anticipated 𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱: 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 (𝗨𝗜𝗚) we, the 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗙𝗨𝗦𝗖), release this official statement regarding the 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀.

Due to the 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴’ 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘶𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴, several colleges experienced 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀, 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

Recognizing these challenges, the College Governors from the College of Teacher Education (CTE), College of Engineering (COE), College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), and College of Business and Technology (CBT) have formally 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗙𝗨𝗦𝗖) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗨𝗦𝗖) 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗡𝗦𝗨 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀, which 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 for 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀, 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀.

After thorough deliberation, all concerned parties have 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱 that the 𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱: 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 (𝗨𝗜𝗚) originally scheduled for 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬–𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, will be moved to 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟰–𝟮𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

This decision underscores the university’s shared commitment to 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆, 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲, while also preserving the 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦, 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘴.

Let us continue to 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 this adjustment with 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, as we prepare for a stronger, safer, and more spirited 𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.
