Tourism, particularly ecotourism, is one of the best alternatives for economic development. However, to ensure its sustainability, it is important to determine the carrying capacity of an ecotourism site.

It is along this line that we would like to invite you to share your valuable insights on determining the carrying capacity of one of the priority ecotourism sites in the country, the Siargao Island Protected Landscape and Seascape in Surigao del Norte. Tourism is booming in this area and unless sustainable development plans and programs are implemented, this beautiful and awesome island would be doomed to destruction.
