Good day everyone. San Isidro Elementary School is in need of ARAL Summer tutors volunteer in reading.
May 6- June 2, 2026

Qualifications:
• Teachers, para-teachers, pre-service teachers and non-licensed education graduates
• Retired professional teachers
• Other licensed professionals
• College Graduates

Interested applicants can submit their letter of intent to the Principal's Office for evaluation.

The suspension of classes and work (Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff) in ALL LEVELS, both Public and Private Schools, is hereby LIFTED, effective today, March 10, 2026.

However, as rainfall continues and may still pose a threat to learners and school personnel, school heads are given the discretion to suspend classes.

The public is advised to continue monitoring official advisories issued by the Local DRRM Office and Barangay Officials, as well as updates from the official weather forecasting authority, PAGASA, for timely and accurate information.

All concerned are urged to remain vigilant and always prioritize safety.

In view of the prevailing weather disturbance affecting the Province of Surigao del Norte and the latest Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 2 Issued at 05:00 AM 09 March 2026 by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) indicating cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to trough of a Low Pressure Area, which may cause localized flooding and other weather-related hazards, the safety and welfare of learners, teachers, and school personnel remain a priority of the Local Government Unit of Placer.

Classes in ALL LEVELS (public and private schools) including the work of teaching and non-teaching personnel are SUSPENDED TODAY, March 9, 2026, until further notice within the Municipality of Placer.

The public is encouraged to stay vigilant and monitor official announcements from the MDRRMO Placer and PAGASA for further updates.

Due to the effects of the Shear Line and Easterlies causing uncertain weather conditions, including moderate to heavy rainfall, as indicated in Weather Advisory No. 7 issued by the PAGASA, and in the interest of public safety,

Classes in ALL LEVELS, both Public and Private Schools in the Municipality of Placer are hereby SUSPENDED today February 20, 2026 until further notice.

The public is advised to stay vigilant as continuous rains may trigger flooding and landslides in vulnerable areas.
