SIARGAO, July 13, 2026 โ Union National High School (UNHS) is among the beneficiary schools that received a collection of donated books from the LBC Hari ng Padala Foundation, Inc. during a book turnover ceremony held at the Division Office Training Center on Monday.
The turnover ceremony gathered officials from the Department of Education, led by Caraga Regional Director Allan G. Farnazo, along with the SDO Siargao family, highlighting the Foundation's continued commitment to supporting literacy and improving access to quality learning resources for public schools.
As one of the recipient schools, Union National High School welcomed the donation as a valuable addition to its library and reading resources. The donated books are expected to strengthen the school's reading initiatives, provide learners with a wider selection of reading materials, and further promote a culture of reading among students.
Jucris S. Cinco, Head Teacher of Union NHS, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the LBC Hari ng Padala Foundation, Inc. for its generosity, emphasizing that the donated books will significantly enhance the school's literacy initiatives and serve as valuable learning resources for both students and teachers.
