39 years ago, millions of Filipinos stood together in the People Power Revolution, proving that unity and courage could break the chains of oppression. The EDSA Revolution was not just about reclaiming democracy, it was about restoring dignity, justice, and hope for a better future.

Because of the People Power Revolution, we are free to speak, to stand up for what is right, and to care for one another without fear. And today, that freedom allows us to continue fighting, not against a dictatorship, but against the struggles that many still face in silence. Without the bravery of those who came before us, we wouldn’t be able to openly talk about mental health, fight stigma, or extend help to those who need it most.

The spirit of the People Power Revolution lives on when we lift each other up. The same unity that restored our democracy can also help create a society where no one suffers alone, where compassion is our greatest strength, and where seeking help is not a battle, but a right.
