【Responsibilities】
➞ Teach English online to Japanese students
➞ Conduct engaging and interactive virtual English lessons for learners of various age groups and proficiency levels
➞ Be friendly, motivating, and punctual to students
➞ Provide constructive feedback to support students’ language development
➞ Evaluate and record students’ performance
➞ Coordinate with the admin team when necessary
➞ Teach at least 20 hours per week
➞ Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Job Overview
As an Administrative Staff member, you will help manage the daily operations of our online education services.
You will monitor online classes, assist teachers and students, and ensure that lessons run smoothly.
The role requires attention to detail and the ability to respond calmly when multiple tasks occur at the same time.

Key Responsibilities
• Real-time incident management: Quickly resolving technical issues or teacher/student absences as they happen."
• Support teachers during online lessons
• Assist students and respond to inquiries
• Manage emails and communication with the Japan office
• Prepare operational reports
• Organize and maintain internal records
• Guide teachers on how to use the lesson system
• Coordinate lesson schedules and teacher assignments
• Assist with teacher recruitment and onboarding
• Support internal projects to improve services and systems
• Participate in company promotions and marketing activities
• Coordinate with team members to maintain smooth daily operations

Qualifications
• Full-time position (5 days per week)
• Rotational shifts between 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Must be willing to work onsite at our Subic (SBMA) office
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Basic familiarity with Zoom, Google Workspace, or similar tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• High cognitive flexibility and strong working memory to manage multiple simultaneous chat windows and system alerts without losing focus
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Interest in Japanese language or culture is an advantage
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Salary & Compensation
• Monthly Starting Package: ₱15,000 – ₱16,000
Base Salary (Probationary): ₱13,500 – ₱14,500
Fixed Monthly Allowance: ₱2,000 (Rice & Transportation)
• Guaranteed Increase: Salary adjustment upon successful regularization (6th month).
• Bi-Annual Salary Reviews: Performance-based increases twice a year to reward growth and consistency.
• Total Annual Package (Up to 15 Months Pay):
13th Month Pay: Guaranteed as per Philippine labor law.
Performance Bonuses: Up to two (2) additional months of pay per year, based on individual performance and company business results.
Note: Bonuses are discretionary and subject to performance evaluation.

We visited classrooms, greeted teachers, played with the students, and supported Action NGO as they introduced basic Japanese words and phrases. Seeing the children smile while learning their first Japanese greetings was truly heartwarming.

It was a simple yet meaningful day — filled with connection, learning, and shared joy.

JPLT Online School is expanding our new curriculum, and we are now accepting applications for Japanese Language Teachers whose training will begin in January, with classes starting in late January and/or the first week of February.

At JPLT, teachers are not just instructors, they are performers.
Your role is to keep energy high, lessons structured, and students actively producing Japanese from start to finish.
