𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧!

August 17, 2026 — Amid the gentle rain that graced the campus today, the University of the Assumption warmly welcomed the revered images of the Virgen de los Remedios and Santo Cristo del Perdón of the Cruzada de Penitencia y Caridad.

Their arrival is especially meaningful as we commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Canonical Coronation of the Virgen de los Remedios, celebrating seven decades of Marian devotion and faith. Their presence reminds us of God’s mercy, the power of prayer, and our call to compassion, reconciliation, and a life of love and service.

SOLA 2026 | “He has done great things for me.” — Luke 1:49

On this solemn feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we honor Mary, the humble handmaid whose faithful yes became a lasting witness of trust, obedience, and love.

Through her Magnificat, Mary teaches us to recognize the greatness of God and to respond with hearts full of gratitude and praise. May her example inspire us to trust in the Lord, embrace His will, and faithfully follow the path He has prepared for us.

As Assumptionists, may we look to Mary as our Mother and model of faith, allowing her example to inspire us to live with humility, courage, and unwavering devotion to Christ and His mission.

May she accompany us in our journey of faith and lead us ever closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

The skies may still be gray, but we hold on to hope. As we celebrate Mary’s Assumption into Heaven, may our Mother continue to intercede for us, and may Jesus protect us and our families through every storm.

Due to the continuous heavy rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) in Pampanga, all classes will shift to online learning modalities.

Should local conditions or connectivity issues prevent synchronous sessions, faculty and students may coordinate with their respective supervisors for asynchronous learning arrangements.

Please remain safe and take necessary precautions. The University prioritizes the safety, well-being, and continuity of learning of the entire academic community.

With classes tomorrow, August 12, 2026, set to be conducted through online learning across all levels, we want to know how our Assumptionists are doing.

How are things in your area? Are you currently affected by flooding? Are you experiencing difficulties with your internet connection, electricity, or other circumstances that may affect your participation in online classes?

Let us know your current situation so we can better understand your needs and continue raising your concerns to the concerned offices.

Faculty members are advised to do synchronous learning; however, they are also advised to give consideration to students experiencing local constraints, flooding, or connectivity issues. Students who may be unable to participate in synchronous sessions due to these circumstances may coordinate with their faculty members/superiors for asynchronous learning arrangements or other flexible learning options.
