"Alam ko na may mata na nagbabantay kung pa'no ako sasablay
Matiyagang nag-aantay kung kailan ako tatamlay at lalaylay

Ngalay na ngalay na manghila kasi nga walang pinakitang hindi pamatay" -- RAPSTAR by FLOW G

Remember...
Whatever you're going through right now, it's just temporary...
Nothing is permanent in this world...
So if you're feeling down and broke at the moment, don't worry, it will pass...
And if you're happy right now, good for you. I just hope you're ready for the challenges that life may bring, and that you live in the moment.
I wish everyone a blessed Tuesday...

Lord, I am returning to "Faith Street" now.
I wandered on other streets, and I apologize for leaving "Faith Street."
Thank you for listening to my prayers and answering them.
I know it's close.
I promise not to go anywhere else and to stay here in "Faith Street."

This holds some truth, but always remember, you're in charge of yourself. If it's genuinely meant for you, it will be. However, the way you make it happen is your choice. Inaction and waiting achieve nothing. Act now—don't wait, take charge!

Last week was a bit of a hustle with job applications. Some said no, others haven't replied yet, but I'm hanging in there. Decided to look for a full-time job to tackle debts and the mortgage head-on. Honestly, I'm exhausted. It feels like I can't catch a break or take a nap. The CallTend gig is tough with cold calling and all the hang-ups, curses, and disinterest. But I'm not giving up. Got a new gig generating leads; it's commission-based but seems doable. Currently, crafting an online pitch to find business owners looking for loans.

Also testing the waters with a transcribing gig. It's a one-minute audio test, a bit tricky with background noise. Fingers crossed. I have an exam and interview with a company tomorrow, hoping it goes well. If not, consider heading back to the province, and renting out the house for some income. It could be a fresh start, running online gigs and helping my mom's business. No more dealing with mortgage collectors, just a peaceful lifestyle.

Got my last paycheck from Frontier, right on time. Now, budgeting for bills. Hoping it covers everything. In the midst of it all, praying for good health and the success we deserve. Will try to keep you posted here regularly, maybe every day. We'll see.

To all job hunters, don't give up! Take these tips to heart for job-hunting success. You've got this!

*** Keep pushing forward: Rejections happen. Learn and keep applying. Your persistence will pay off.

***Tailor that resume: Customize it for each job. Highlight the skills that match what they're looking for.

***Network actively: Hop onto LinkedIn, attend events, and reach out to professionals. Networking opens doors.

***Enhance those skills: Invest time in workshops and online courses. Continuous learning makes you more employable.

***Nail those interviews: Practice common questions, research the company, and be ready to share your experiences.

***Boost your online presence: Keep LinkedIn sharp and consider a personal website. Showcase what makes you great.

***Diversify your search: Check various platforms, company websites, and industry forums. Cast a wide net.

***Embrace feedback: Learn from interview feedback. Continuous improvement is the key to the right job.

***Manage expectations: It takes time to find the right opportunity. Stay positive and focused on your goals.

***Tap into career services: If available, use the resources and leads they offer. They can be a great help.

***Stay pro on social media: Employers check. Keep your online presence pro and align it with your professional image.

***Explore freelancing or part-time gigs: While on the full-time hunt, these can boost your income and resume.

Job hunting can be tough, but with persistence, preparation, and adaptability, you'll land that fulfilling opportunity. You've got this!👊💪👏🤜🤝

A portfolio can serve as "tangible proof" that you're qualified for the role, but what should it include? Consider adding work samples specific to your target role. Here's what to know.

Had a pretty regular day yesterday – woke up early, tackled emails, and hung out with kids going door-to-door for Christmas treats. Then, off to Mama Narda's for breakfast and some family time. Took a nap around noon, hit the church by 4 or 5 pm, bought new slippers for the kiddos, had dinner at Mama Narda's again, and called it a night.

Nothing flashy happened, but being with my kids all day made it the best Christmas in 8 years. Usually, work had me doing the Christmas shift, celebrating a day later. Big change and super grateful for it.

My new gig as a real estate broker kicks off tomorrow, from 6 am to 10 am. Feeling a mix of excitement and nerves since there's no more training – it's the real deal. Definitely gonna spill the details of my first day on the BBeacon of Echoespage.

Oh, and the laptop saga. I have this annoying red line on it. Chatted with Sir Leo from Leo Commerce PH – a super cool guy. He's checking it out under warranty. Fingers crossed it's nothing major. I love the laptop, but wasn't expecting this hiccup in less than a month. My first laptop, also secondhand, is already three years and it's still kicking. Hope they sort it out soon since I offered to be their reseller. Can't sell if the product's got issues, right? I'll keep you posted on the laptop drama.

That's the update for now. Cheers!

THE DAY THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING

Last night, I had a Final Roleplay with the part-time job that I applied for. I got hired and will start next week (a 4-hour work). So happy when I got to bed. I can't even sleep thinking about it. I have 3 jobs already (1 full-time and 2 part-time jobs). Before closing my eyes last night, I thought to myself, this is the start of me fulfilling my goal for 2024 (pay debts).

I woke up at 4 am the next day, attended Simbang Gabi Mass on YouTube, thanked God for the new job, and cried my heart out because of happiness and gratitude. After the mass, I did the usual of checking my work email for my full-time job (this is what I do when it's my rest day) and then checked my CRM tool account (the main tool that we're using). But it gave me an error, that I don't have access to it and that I should talk to the admin about it. I felt a big thud in my chest. I chatted with one of my supervisors and asked her, and she replied that she would check it, but never came back to me. But still, I waited. Then an email came in, from my agency. The email was about an "END OF CONTRACT" email, and it finally sank in. I don't have a full-time job anymore. I was sad but I did not feel any regrets and panghihinayang, and I thought to myself, "Is this the right thing to feel or is this a sign?" A sign from God. A sign that I should focus myself moving forward to my life-long dream to be a writer. A sign that I should be focusing more on my masterclasses about FB ads and email marketing. A sign that I should be focusing more on business and being an entrepreneur. A sign that I should focus more on inspiring others through writing articles and blogs.

But, who's going to pay the bills? How am I able to provide for my family? I guess these are the questions that will be answered along the way. All I know is that despite being "terminated" 5 days before Christmas, and thinking if the 2 part-time jobs can be enough, one thing is for sure, in my 8 years in being an employed b*tch, this is the only termination that I'm happy, contented, and grateful about. Why? Because I will have more time to study and practice my new skills in writing, email marketing, and FB Ads, which I know can bring me more revenue in the future rather than working a full-time job with a lot of stress and pressure. I'm confident that I can do this. I will not consider this a failure but will take this as a challenge.

Hey! Look on the bright side. I can spend Christmas with my family instead of staying at home to work from 8 pm-5 am on the 24th. (The celebration will be at my partner's parent's house). I will work 4 hours each for my 2 part-time jobs and it will still be 8 hours a day. And the good thing about it is that in my other part-time, there is no schedule so I can do it anytime. I can be able to write my blogs and journals, focus on my business, study, and eventually earn more than I'm earning now.

I do believe in the saying, "Everything happens for a reason". I've been living with these words my entire life. I have lived for 33 years proving this principle. I failed one thousand times, but still managed to get up because of these words, and every time failure says "Hi" to me, I always think to myself, that God will never give me struggles that I can't overcome. He will not give me obstacles that I can't push through.

So, to those who are feeling down today, to those who lost their jobs, to those who feel that they're alone and that they are useless, I hope this will give you inspiration to stand up and FIGHT. No one's going to fight for you other than yourself. No one will lift you. You need to get up, fix yourself, and face the demons. Unleash that potential, discover your skills, enhance them, and make money out of them. I believe all of us have that fire that only needs to be ignited. Find that ignition and let it shine. Also, be an inspiration to others.

This is the day that CHANGES everything. Because this is the day that I realize that I can be and do MORE.

P.S. Just to let you know, my new part-time job can be upgraded to a full-time job, but I decided not to. Just not yet.
