Libagon National High School - 313411 Libagon National High School is a newly opened public high school. This is where Libagon National High School anchored on. Jubas, Libagon, So. Nestor Y.

The Department of Education aims to give quality education to all Filipino children, to become fully equipped and be globally competitive. That is why, RA 9155 or the Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001, declared its policy of giving the frontier of education the power to plan programs and projects for the improvement of their school since they are the ones who know the needs and whatever is

required of the school to extend quality education for all. The school existed to answer this call and came into being through a resolution passed by the Local Government Unit of Libagon, specifically, Resolution No. 16 s. 2014. Just recently, school year 2014-2015, the school started its first operation. House Bill 4115 " An Act Creating National High School in Barangay Jubas, Municipality of Libagon, province of Southern Leyte to be known as Libagon National High School"

Last December 29, 2015, President Benigno S. Aquino III approved RA 10731 An Act Establing National High School in Brgy. Leyte to be known as LIBAGON NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

Sa huling Lunes ng buwan ng Agosto, isinagawa ang Flag Ceremony sa pangunguna ng SaMaFil bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa. Tampok dito ang pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino bilang mahalagang bahagi ng ating kultura, pagkakakilanlan, at pagkakaisa.

Kasabay nito, malugod na ipinakilala ang mga bagong g**o na sina G. Mark Vincent Segesa (Math), Bb. Estella Mae Suan (MAPEH), Gng. Maria Isabel S. Gare (Science), at Bb. Shaira Cadayona (Science), na opisyal nang bahagi ng LNHS Green Falcons

Naging masigla ang Seremonya ng Pagtataas ng Watawat sa pamamagitan ng Tagisan ng Talino, kung saan nasubok ang bilis ng pag-iisip at kaalaman ng mga mag-aaral tungkol sa Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa. Sinundan ito ng Parada ng Kasuotang Filipino, na nagbigay-kulay at buhay sa pagdiriwang ng ating wika at kultura.

Bilang pagkilala sa kanilang husay at kaalaman, ginawaran ng mga premyo ang mga mag-aaral na nagwagi. Ang mga premyo ay inihandog ng mga g**o ng Departamento ng Filipino. 🇵🇭📚

Opisyal na sinimulan ng Libagon National High School ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 na may temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

Sa pangunguna ng Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral sa Filipino (SAMAFIL), isinagawa ang pambungad na programa sa seremonya ng pagtataas ng watawat. Tampok sa pagdiriwang ang pag-awit ng mga makabayang awitin at ang Parada ng Kasuotang Filipino na nilahukan ng mga mag-aaral mula Grade 8 hanggang Grade 12, bilang pagpapakita ng pagmamahal, pagpapahalaga, at pagmamalaki sa ating wikang pambansa at mayamang kulturang Filipino.
