The Lewis College Red Cross Youth Council (TLC-CRCYC) Opens Membership for New Volunteers
The Lewis College Red Cross Youth Council (TLC-CRCYC) is proud to announce that MEMBERSHIP IS NOW OFFICIALLY OPEN to students who are passionate about community service, leadership, and humanitarian work.
As our mission in TLC-CRCYC is to provide opportunities for learners to engage in life-saving programs, disaster preparedness initiatives, leadership training, community outreach, and volunteer service both within the campus and in local communities.
Students of all year levels and courses are welcome to join. No prior Red Cross experience is required, just a willingness to serve and make a difference.

How to Join
โข Proceed to the NSTP office (RFL 2nd floor) to get and fill out the Membership form.
โข After getting the instruction from TLC-CRCYC on duty representative, proceed to the TLC Bookstore
โข Pay the 80 Pesos Membership fee
โข Once completed, bring back the form to the office and show the receipt to the officer on duty to be documented.
For inquiries, please proceed to the TLC-CRCYC office or ( NSTP room ) RFL second floor.
Together, letโs live out the Red Cross spirit of humanity, service, and compassion.

The Lewis College NSTP Unit actively participated in the 1st Regional NSTP Implementers Summit 2025 held on December 4โ5 at Sorsogon State University. The institution was represented by Mr. Joseph E. Anacin (LTS Implementer), Mr. Eugene F. Galicio (CWTS Implementer), and Mr. Jerry Glenn L. Castillo (NSTP Coordinator).
Through this summit, TLC continues to strengthen its NSTP programs by embracing collaboration, innovation, and shared best practices. The school reaffirms its commitment to shaping responsible, service-driven youth leaders for the community.

"From Readiness to Responsibility: TLC-NSTPians for Community Safety"
The Lewis College, in partnership with the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Sorsogon City, successfully conducted the NSTP Basic Life Support, First Aid, and Fire Safety Training on October 25, 2025, at the TLC Sports Gym.
Through hands-on training and expert guidance, TLC-NSTPians gained essential life-saving skills and a deeper understanding of emergency response and fire safety. This activity reflects TLCโs enduring commitment to nurturing responsible, prepared, and community-oriented youth leaders โ always ready to serve and save lives.

The Lewis College National Service Training Program (TLC-NSTP) in partnership with the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) - Sorsogon City, successfully held the NSTP Kahandaan: Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Webinar on October 24, 2025, via Zoom, with the theme โDisaster-Ready Youth, Disaster-Resilient Community.โ
Featuring insights from Hagel D. Habla, Assistant Department Head of CDRRMO, the webinar empowered TLC-NSTPians with vital knowledge on disaster preparedness, risk assessment, and community resilience.
Guided by the leadership of Mr. Jerry Glenn L. Castillo, NSTP Coordinator, the event reinforced the schoolโs mission of Service and Transformationโinspiring Lewisians to become proactive, responsible, and community-oriented citizens.
