✨ “ Leadership is not about being in charge, but about caring for those in your charge.”✨

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) once again proved that leadership is about growth, service, and dedication as they proudly attended the 3-Day SLDP: Learners Convergence Camp. This event became not only a venue for learning but also for building meaningful connections and discovering the true essence of being a student-leader. 🌟

📌 Day 1 – The camp opened with a session on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Services facilitated by Julius James J. Natividad, RGC. This session reminded our young leaders of the importance of caring for themselves and for others — because true leadership begins with empathy and understanding.

📌 Day 2 – The second day was filled with inspiration and action. SSLG Vice President Princess Mica C. Llaneta proudly presented the school project entitled “Ligtas ang May Alam, Alerto Kabataan”, a disaster preparedness program designed to ensure student safety in times of calamities. The officers also gained valuable insights from Planning School-Based Projects by Catherine A. De Castro, PhD, and attended the breakout session Right Matters: Learner Rights and Protection by Atty. Rhea J. Olayres. To strengthen their camaraderie and teamwork, they actively joined the team-building activities, where each officer represented a different team:

🔹 Team Shine – Vanessa E. Din & Jovy D. Dematera

📌 Day 3 – On the final day, the officers attended different breakout sessions that widened their perspectives:

💸 Smart Spender – Christian Paul E. Chavez

To conclude the camp, all participants gathered for the inspiring session Lead Where You Are by Michael M. Uy, EPS Kindergarten, which encouraged everyone to embody leadership wherever life takes them.
